I went to this McDonald's because I moved to lantana and after a 4am-7pm shift I just wanted something fast to eat. I was treated poorly, they threw it together after having me wait an hour. Proceeded to not get my order right missing 2 sandwiches saying I need my receipt even though it's a mobile order and I'm showing them the purchase through the McDonald's app after going back and forth they did see that I did order that item. Sometimes a bad thing can lead you to a good thing. This was that situation. I stopped in for lunch randomly because I was in the area, starving, and just needing something for lunch. Not much in the area so ended up at McDonalds (don't tell my trainer). The line was long and didn't seem to be moving fast, but eventually I got to the counter and was able to order. I order a nugget combo and fries. Unfortunately I waited and waited and waited a bit more. Seems that this team wasn't anticipating the rush, which was mentioned many times while I stood there and waited. The plus side of them being busy is that they ran out of fries and nuggets. Why is that good you ask? Because mine got to be made fresh which was great. The dining room needed to be wiped down, but again, they were so busy that I knew that wasn't happening any time soon. WORST SERVICE! I have never been somewhere and had such bad service. As I sat in the drive through window after waiting almost an hour for food. I watched three young women walk back and fourth. One which grabbed a pastry right from the warmer with her bare hands and proceeded to walk around the lobby instead of helping customers. The interesting thing was, instead of correcting the order and at the very LEAST adding a proper lid to the ice cream cup, the server made the decision to simply place the ice cream cones upside down in a cup - again WOW. McDonald's must not have competitive pay as they advertise since this type of service demonstrates that the employees don't care about how they serve you your food; I can't imagine what they put in it when your not looking. Ive only visited this location a few times due to 1-2 bad experiences at this location. Unfortunately this one is the closest to my house so every once in a while I try and give this location another chance they always fail. My most recent incident 8-14-19 was the icing to cause me to do this review to warn others. So after long day at work my kids requested food from there so on my home I picked up food and drinks. Long story short I bought the food home and approx 10min into eating and drinking, my wife begins to gag and starts throwing up. We immediately became concerned hoping all was well with the food and everything the kids were eating, low and behold my wife looks at her drink and discovers a bunch of mold at the bottom of the cup. At this point I am highly concerned about my wife throwing up so I attend to her till she seems to be ok and then I immediately call the location. The manager was very inconsiderate and blew it off telling me there nothing he can do about it at this point basically not understanding that I called to just Inform them so they could take proper precaution to make sure no other customer receive product with mold, but after being blown off in that fashion I felt the need to share the experience Please beware of this location the employees from management down seem to be very incompetent as per McDonalds Standards or any restaurant business standards.
