At first I was a little put off by this McDonald's charging for sauces. But 5 packs for 2 cents is a heckuva deal. I say knock yourselves out! Dre and the Night crew really made this trip to mickey D's 1000% worth it. The drive through was quick and the food was fresh and tasty.

I am there almost every day. They are constantly having computer issues where you either have to wait for 45 minutes or more or the McDonald's app conflicts with their computer. On top of that, they are constantly out of stuff. If you voice a concern, the manager gets rude with you. read more

I ordered on my app and when I got there they argued with me over what I ordered and it clearly showed on my receipt. The manager and employee ignored us when we tried to show them. Very rude. This McDonalds is one of the finest. Their Artisan Grilled chicken sandwich is much better than average for McDonalds. I always stop when passing through. Unfortunately the McDonalds in Rockport, TX is the worst one I've ever been to. I used to think they were all the same. I've emailed the main company with a complaint but nothing changed. I went to McDonald's and I ordered the new mushroom and Swiss burger. I told them I only wanted Swiss cheese and mushrooms. So I got the burger and it had fake Swiss cheese and thier stupid sauce. Absolutely no mushrooms at all. I will no longer go back to the place. read more

This place needs an overhaul. Actually, almost every business in Lamar needs an overhaul. Get rid of the convicts that are used to eating prison food and hire competent people that can count money!! They not only didn't know how to fix the overcharge and wrong order, but they gave me the wrong change back for the double. They told me they would fix it at the pick-up window. I get to that window, explained the wrong order to them, and they said to pull over to the curb and they would fix the order, refund the difference, and bring my order out. About five minutes later, a girl comes out with a double cheesy jalapeno combo and no change. I sent her back in to fix the order, and they still got it wrong. Hungry tired traveler's driving through Lamar, you just want to grab a fresh hot meal and be on your way. That's great, so if you want your order to be right on, hot and served by a friendly face, BE SURE TO STOP AT BURGER KING, because you won't get that kind of service at this Lamar McDonalds. Out of 8 orders in 8 day, they got 7 of the orders completely wrong. When we complained, the counter person said something ugly in mexican. I have carefully read the previous reviews and rechecked my McDonald's receipt to make certain this is the same location where we ate. We found this restaurant to be very good and did not encounter all the flies referred to in previous review. The order was taken professionally and we were served our two Daily Doubles quickly. The front area where we sat was clean, the napkin area and the drink area were all clean and without any flies. Just as we left a school bus pulled into the parking lot thus I imagine there were a lot of kids running around. I recall sitting next to a rancher who seemed to know everyone that came into the restaurant. He was there before we came in and was still there after we left. The outside parking lot was as clean as one could hope for during a rush hour lunch time. There was no doubt a cattle feeding area somewhere close by as we could smell it as we left. read more
