We're traveling and love patronizing small local businesses when doing so, so we stopped in for a quick lunch. Really disappointing experience. Ordered the Bacon Strawberry Salad, which the description noted came with feta and walnuts. When I received it, it consisted of nice looking greens, strawberries, and what seemed like pre-cooked, low quality bacon. No feta, no walnuts. When I took it back to the counter, I was told they don't serve it with walnuts anymore because of allergies, and they dusted the top with a pitiful amount of feta. I get that things change, but had I known these two elements were missing, I would've chosen something else. Went back after my meal to get a chai and cookie for the road, but stood at the counter for quite some time and was never acknowledged, despite being in the line of sight of 2 people in the kitchen. Maybe it was just a bad/off day, but too many basic service issues to recommend to anyone else passing through. read more

Cutest coffee shop ever. We were passing thru and saw their coffee sign so we pulled over and went in. So nice and clean. The server was very nice and made us a pumpkin spice latte. Brew unto Others is a small town gym! We were driving through town and asked at the gas station for the best little lunch spot with good home cooking and we were referred here. What a delight! I chose the Pick 2 which was a generous portion of strawberry chicken salad over greens with a sweet and savory dressing paired with a very unique panini called the popper. Both were really yummy. And I think now my husband has become addicted to Italian cream soda. They had probably 30 flavors and he chose peach which tasted like you had just dug into a fresh bowl of peaches and cream. I chose the sugar-free raspberry which was refreshing and sweet and tasted like summer in a cup. What a find! If you find yourself in or near Lamar Colorado they are open for breakfast and lunch and even have live music on Saturday and Sunday mornings during breakfast hours! read more

We Stopped for a morning coffee on the way out of town and I was not disappointed! We got an iced latte and a cold brew and both were delicious. Very fairly priced, sweet barista, and I loved the overall feel of the place. Simple decor, large space, plenty of seating. Contemporary Christian music playing at a good level. I come to Lamar on business and frequently come to This coffee shop between assignments. I've come here for several years. I appreciate the free WiFi connectivity so I can catch up on my work emails. I wish they offered some vegetarian options on their limited menu. I usually end up getting a drink and a breakfast bagel. Today my son was with me and I got him a specialty drink and a breakfast bagel. I asked if they could make me a veggie club sandwich. They said they did not have tomatoes and offered a salad with bacon instead... I asked for a breakfast bagel with pepper jack cheese. The girl brought me a bagel with the melted cheese and no egg. That is not a breakfast bagel. When I went to the counter to show the gal, she proceeded to challenge me on the order I had given her. I asked her if she wanted the bagel so they could correct the order, she said no, she would bring it out to me! She brought me a pre-made egg "patty" in a carton container- the ones fries are usually served in, with latex gloves like the thing was radioactive, or something! Seriously!! Any self-respecting establishment would take the bagel back and make a new sandwich the right way. Some appreciation for the business people bring to their "Christian " establishment! And, on top of that to deal with bad attitude. I will not give this place my money again. I wish I could take back the 20% gratuity I included when I paid. read more

Terrible coffee. It tastes like dirt. I like strong dark coffee, and light roast coffees too, but their's was undrinkable. I threw the full cup of coffee out. They don't have half and half on the counter, so they have to put it in for you. Also, very slow service. People have places to go, work to do. read more
