So this place is a McDonalds. Nothing spectacular about the place but it gets the job done if you need a quick lunch. This McD's is situated in a parking lot where Hays market is. Their drive up is kind of set up funky because of that. The place is clean and the service friendly. Don't expect water features that you may see at McD's in the bigger towns. Complete fail was like everyone was on there first day starting with out any experience.

This has to be one of the worst McDonalds in the country. You never know what you'll get! Once I ordered nuggets and ranch. Out of ranch cups? No problem! They filled a four piece nugget box with ranch and put it in the bag without letting us know. As you can imagine, it made a huge mess of the rest of our food. Another time my burger was so salty it was literally crunchy. I've had better food in school cafeterias. Most of the kids who work there are nice... but geez... someone needs to teach them how to McWork. read more

Placed an order. They messed up my order which I immediately caught before driving away. They asked me to pull forward and wait for the correct order to be brought out. There was no salt on my French fry. We were also gonna go in the lobby and some lady was standing outside and basically was snooty and said the lobby closes at 11 and it's 11:03. Like that was really rude. And we were already all out of the car like she could have told us because we had our windows down. Also my friend is diabetic and asked for a diet dr.pepper and they never said if they had it and gave her something probably like a coke and she tasted it and had our other friend taste it and it didn't taste diet and she said she's diabetic and the lady said I gave you the only diet we have. Wow was McDonalds ever a mistake. Stopped for a bite to eat last night in Johnstown and it was terrible. I was the only one at the counter and it took forever to get my food. The meat on the burger was as thin as lunch meat and under cooked. The lettuce tasted stale. They tossed the French fries into the bag upside down. And the whole time I'm there the manager is yelling at everybody for loosing her keys when they were laying on the counter right in front of her. Terrible on Everything!!!! They are the only game in the area so they can upcharge and screw you left and right and know you'll be back. The service is by far the worst and slowest I have ever experienced in my 42 years on this planet. This McDonalds cannot get it right. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was burnt and the side of the bun covered in mayo. I took it inside for a replacement. Lobby was disgusting! The employee looked at it and threw it away and ordered a replacement. First told me it was supposed to look like that...no it does not...then said it comes that way if you order in the drive thru...sure it does, because you thought I would just drive on thru and not complain! Second sandwich, still burnt. Manager offered to make me a third sandwich and I declined and requested a refund. read more

Honestly I don't think this McDonalds even deserves one star. If you want really awful customer service and want to wait forever for your food then go here. Everyone has a bad day every once in a while, but the last few times I have been here I have waited in the lobby for over 4 minutes before anyone working acknowledged me. This McDonalds is awful. The food is dry as if it has been sitting there all day and the coffee is always cold. If you get a coffee drink, don't expect to get a full cup. Service is slow. It's just not worth the money anymore. I hope they bring in a Burger King soon. read more
