Just Poppy's specialise in burgers as well as fish and chips. They have many many burgers... over 50 I would have to say at least looking at their menu. I had a burger with beetroot, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, a homestyle beef patty and barbeque sauce... let's just say, it came out pretty damn big. So big most of the ingredients fell out the bottom onto the paper bag it came in after my first and second bite (don't you hate that). I would be lying if I said the burger sucked because I couldn't get my act together enough to hold it together literally, but it was quite nice. It was value for money and I was definetely full after that, don't even get me started on the chips we ordered, we couldn't touch them. If I could offer any critique, it would be that the burgers could be a bit smaller (never thought i'd say that) and maybe the buns could be toasted a little more so they didn't just fall apart into the burger falling through the burger. Heating the pre-cooked meat while they add the ingredients with the correct weight up for the salads... then mix it all together and box it up for you. If you can't tell by now, i'm a Sumo Salad noob (newbie). Yeah yeah so they charge close to $10 for the large salad... which is quite a lot I reckon, the salad tastes really fresh and is quite a big serve, so as long as it's not creamy dressing soaking the lettuce and salad... it's all good in my books. I'll be going back there again I think, maybe the smoked salmon one this time. On the flipside, they sell damn cheap coffees that are okay tasting and they also do soups! And bread rolls. It's the kind of place you go for a fresh meal in summer... in winter as well I guess, but in summer when it's sweltering outside, these salads really hit my spot.
