The employees here constantly hound you to use the mobile app, and when you say yes you are using it, they ask you for a code that changes your order to a "mobile order" preventing you from using any of the coupons in the app. Very obnoxious, I'd rather pay the same amount to not use rewards and coupons at some other place that doesn't constantly hound me about their unusable rewards. read more

No matter how many times I've spoken to Corporate and complained about all the messed up orders and just lack of LIFE or DRIVE in the employees they just keep surprising me by getting even worse if that's possible. It is. A lot worse. I went thru the drive-thru and ordered 2 cheeseburgers. The order was to ADD extra onion and extra pickle to both burgers. How do you mess up EXTRA ONION AND PICKLE ???!!! Well, I'll tell you...you get worse. I got one cheeseburger with one pickle and no onion. The second cheeseburger had NO pickle and NO onion but was smeared with a ton of ketchup to the point if I didn't have the wrapper around the bottom of the burger it would have ruined my brand-new top. Good thing I checked both burgers before I left the parking lot and didn't drive the entire way home (I learned that lesson) and then had to return to the store (many many times). Every order is messed up in one way or another. I even spoke to another customer who had been waiting in his truck for a bag of ICE for over 25 minutes and the store wasn't busy at all when this all happened. Passed orders I've had no meat in the burger, no fries, wrong drink, cold food, cold dead fries that should have been tossed but you know they gotta get our money one way or another...employees are on valiums or something that either brings them down or an upper so they run around looking busy but still out in left field and looking like they've lost the entire one brain they all share. I'd give no stars BUT I had to give 1 star. McDonald's Jefferson City TN.... you all suck and your work isn't worth that wage increase of $15 an hour. I'd pay you nothing because with all the complaints about your food and service that's all you'd be worth. Corporate either close this location or stand over each employee and make sure every order is correct when your notebook for messed up orders has 1 mistake a month then you know the employees are properly trained and the order is correct every time. If the order comes back then you know its intentional and the employees are causing you to pay twice since all that food goes in the garbage and you pay for 2 orders (the original and the correct order. When I drive my girlfriend to work of the mornings, we enjoy stopping y McDonald's to grab some breakfast. Yesterday's breakfast experience was great!! Today, on contrary, the women working the early morning shift seemed to be a bit menstrual. My girlfriend wanted a steak biscuit. We didn't know McDonald's didn't serve steak biscuits. Although the intercom response was the proper one, my girlfriend didn't like "the way she said it". We joked as we pulled around to the window, "Now you better than to ask for a steak biscuit when you know we don't carry them", hahaha... And we when paid for our food, we paid part in cash and rest on my girlfriend's card. The attendant sighed and exhaled a "woosah" to herself as if she was having hot flashes... Pulling to the second window, I said to my girlfriend, "That lady needs a vacation"! When we get to the second window and collect our food, we ask for 5 packs of mayonnaise. The experience was routine and normal, but when I asked for a single small bag to separate my food from my girlfriend's, the second window attendant retrieved it. However my girlfriend observed and stated as we pulled off, "she acted like that was a problem" and her ice coffee was not as sweet as the day before. I recommend recruiting some vibrant young men to take some of the strain off of the ladies. I went to McDonald's today they had the Frozen Coke in the fast restaurant on table counter register saying a suggestion if they don't suggest the Frozen Coke it's free. Went through the drive thru to get me, my wife and my 3&4 year old food for dinner. Apparently they was having issues with the fryer and needed me to pull to a parking spot(no big deal things happen) however where they asked me to park there was a truck with a trailer parked sideways so I couldn't pull in there and just pulled in by the area. After 20 minutes I went to lobby door, lobby was closed so I just stood there and waited until a young man came to door. Explained I was still waiting on my food. He apologized and said he'd have it right out. Then the manager walks outside looks where I'm at and says we'll if he wasn't a dumba$$ we would've known where to go. So when the young man came out to bring me my food I told him to let his manager know I didn't appreciate the way he acted. As I'm pulling off the manager opens the door and tells me to suck his di**. Went through to drive thru window to get the managers name. Him and all the employees took off their name tags and refused to give their name . I literally had to call the cops just to be able to get the managers name. The literal worst McDonald's on the planet. Employees are rude and orders are rarely right. I've worked in the service industry for 12 years... If you're going to be one of two fast food restaurants open after hours, (or anytime for that matter) make sure you're fully staffed, completely stocked, and have a decently kind greeter. I don't care where you go, you should never be greeted with "Go ahead with your order". I've lived in this town for three years and never had a pleasant experience, but I work late and don't have a lot of options (other than coming home from a 16 hour shift at midnight and cooking for myself). I've had better service at plenty of other McD's! The cappuccino or Hot Chocolates are often 3/4 full. The service isn't the friendliest. I've had slow service often there. Their drive-thru is fairly decent on timing though. I am not impressed with staff changing the TV monitors to sponge bob when there aren't any kids around, then sitting down to eat. I was watching the news and it was quite rude! It's not the dirtiest, but I've seen messy drink areas/tables when they weren't busy. It's the only McD's in town, so I use it when I'm in the mood for McD's cappuccino or something, but I prefer the one in Dandridge. read more

First, i want to start with something positive. This store employs people from our community and this is good for a small towns economy. As a matter of fact on the day of our visit there must have been 15-18 workers in the store. However, this place is noticeably worse than other stores in the area. We have had problems before with the service, but regardless of the number of complaints from myself as well as the many individuals through Yelp nothing is ever done. Why is this? This time it started with the sweet tea that tasted like watered down peach tea. To myself that is just an honest mistake. So long as the employees acknowledge the situation and correct it we still walk away happy with the service. Since I am writing this review you can surmise this did not happen. When we told them about the tea we did eventually get some from the drive thru dispenser, but not before the employee told us that "the tea comes in from the same source in the back thru a tube and it tastes fine". We did not give that statement a response. We simply ate our meals and noticed as we were leaving they never even checked to verify the tea they were selling to other customers was okay. I assure you it was not. Management as aware and did nothing. I know, it's just another burger joint. What do we expect? I'll leave that for you to answer. read more

Every time I go through the drive-thru they ask me to pull forward and park in a space... 10 mins later, you get part of your order, because something is always missing. Plus, if you're waiting on nuggets to cook, your fries are cold. And if you're waiting on fresh fries, then your burger gets cold. Get it together folks! read more

So husband and I went here this morning to have a quick breakfast. Pitiful. Girl over the mic at the drive through sounded like she did not even want to be there, we had simple orders. I had the sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle with a large caramel macchiato iced, husband got the bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle with a large caramel frappe, the meals were 4.58 each than the drinks were 2.48 each. The drinks absolutely are not a large. We had to wait 10 min on my iced caramel macchiato which they messsd up and gave us a hot one when I cant have hot drinks and I asked for iced. Got home to say our food of course it was cold having to wait 10 min on an iced drink my mcgriddle had an egg over hard which i didn't order its supposed to come with scrambled i only got 3 bite into it and a huge grissle hurt my tooth so i had to throw it away the hashbrown tasted awful super greasy tasted like it was cooked in old grease and no crunch what so ever. I will not be going back to this one and if all McDonald's are this way I'll never go to this fast food chain ever again. I've asked for a large iced coffee several times, they continued to say they didn't have one. So I just said put it in a tea cup and charge me the size of two large ones, fair enough right? Well then they admitted they had a large. So I ordered it extra creamer and sugar, instead of using liquid sugar they used regular. We all know sugar does not dissolve in cold liquids, so therefore a simple coffee, yet over priced was not drinkable on a hot day. Shake machine is always "down" during Shamrock Shake season. I've went 6 days in a row, sometimes multiple times a day just to see if they had it. Nope. Same excuse over & over. Machine is down. If it's been down for that long, they need to either replace it or stop advertising shakes. Also, the past 4 times I've been there, I've had to wait longer than 30 minutes even though it's not busy. I was a manager at McDonald's, so I know how the shake thing works. I used to clean it. Two hours at the most. And we always did it between 10pm-12am. We'd post signs saying the machine was being cleaned. Also, paying extra for bacon & then having to constantly go back in to get bacon added after I've paid $1 extra. This store is ridiculous & either needs new management or people that can actually pay attention to orders. And before people tell me to work there myself, I've tried numerous times.
