So, I started tearing the cheese off in hopes of salvaging the sandwich. However, then I started noticing the meat didn't quite taste right either. I started looking closer. The meat didn't look too good or fresh. I tried to have an open mind (hoping I was just being over-critical because of the cheese), and I ate almost one half. However, the more I ate, the worse it tasted. I paid for the food and hopped into my car. That's when my stomach started LITERALLY crying out. Those were not happy little gurgles. They literally come up to your car, take your order, and bring your food back. I loved the old school feel. It took no time for my food to arrive-about 7 minutes. I got a burger, onion rings, and a hotdog all the way. The onion rings were fresh, hot, and had the perfect amount of salt. The burger was well seasoned, had that crisp, grilled taste. My friend said the hotdogs were pretty good and the french fries would've been if they had been warm. The chicken Parmesan was a big bowl with little tiny pieces of spaghetti in it and very little marinara sauce and a big hard solid piece of chicken laying on top of it. I was not able to chew the chicken and the noodles were just bland without enough marinara sauce on it to tell that it was there I ordered boneless wings with barbecue sauce as an appetizer. What I got was about six chicken nuggets that were deep-fried hard and they weren't even warm. We also ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and I think they were OK. On the upside, the place was packed And the people that work there were awesome. Everyone of them were very friendly. It was a little warm in the building and it felt like the heat was on in the bathroom. It was 97 outside so I'm not sure if they were having a cooling issue or what. The place did have some good qualities but I judged my review on the presentation and the taste of the food and it not being warm. My friend got his appetizer within a bit 15 minutes, but then it took another 15 to get mine so he was finished with his by the time I got mine. Absolutely beautiful little town
