Bad service. I ordered my meal and waited a long time. Got it and only then did they inform me that they were all out of diet drinks.

When you stand in line for 10 minutes and no one comes to take your order and you ask a "team member" as they pass you if there is anyone taking orders and the person replies in a nasty tone , this is a sign you need to train your staff. Terrible, I got 2 adult happy meals for me & my boyfriend with strawberry banana smoothies & a cheese burger. First off they asked what sauce we wanted & didn't give it to us, the fries were old & cold, the burger was burnt, we got no straws, & the staff was unenthusiastic & rude. 0/10 I am never eating at this McDonald's again because there is no way that I just paid $35 for food I literally had to throw out because everything was so cold, old tasting, or burnt. read more

Stopped by for a quick burger & fries. Ordered at the drive thru, paid for the order then went to the first open window, waited a few minutes, then was told to go to window #2, no one at the window so waited a few minutes, I knocked on the window, the girl comes to the window & asked what we wanted, I advised our order, then cars behind me were getting their orders and driving around me, some cars went to the drive thru waiting area, they also got their orders and left. So I got out of my vehicle and went back to window #1, was told they would get my food, went back to my car and waited more minutes, still no food. Then a person came to window #2 said here is your food. My husband asked what took so long, she says it was not a long time, you only waited five minutes. We said no it was like 30 minutes and many more had got their orders & left, at least 8-10 cars. She says so you got your food now, what do you want. We asked to s/w the manager & she says I am the manager. We asked so what really happened did you give our order to someone else? She repeated again you have your food, what else do you want. I advised she needs to go to manager school. I do not recommend this McDonalds in downtown Hartwell, GA since it is obvious this manager does not have the best interest of the customer in mind, seems like she and her employees just wanted to laugh about it instead of apologizing & being truthful about what happened. I had a bad experience here. I waited at the counter to order for 20 minutes and the workers repeatedly looked over at me and still didn't help. I finally went the the self order and ordered. The food can straight to me but they didn't seem to care that I was patiently waiting. I also ordered a caramel coffee and they gave me watered down chocolate coffee. read more

Waited 20 minutes for 2 large fries one without salt. I don't like going here even though there are 2 aisles the wait is ridiculous. The fry box has fries printed on the inside I guess to show employees how much to put in it. For 2.50 I expected it to at least reach the top of the container. read more

This was a restaurant stop that could've turned into a late lunch. I will say the inside is prety big and very nice. Decent sized restroom, where we went first, but unfortunately when we came out, a team of about 25 girls soccer players were in line and ordering, so after a moment, we took off for some place else. read more

I just ordered 2 double cheeseburgers plain and 2 double cheeseburgers add Mac sauce extra bacon. When I checked them in the parking lot 1 said" double cheeseburger add Mac sauce" and the other said "double cheeseburger add Mac sauce extra pickles" , but all for were plain. I drove back to the window, but they told me " were sorry, but we're closed" and they're supposed to be open another hour. This McDonald's is really losing it's quality. read more

I stopped in here on a whim. Ordered my food and then waited for my order. Looking around, I noticed paper napkins on the floor, nasty trash on the tables...but the WORST was when I arrived at the drink dispenser. Holy COW, this place had soda spilled all over, paper from straws tossed all over, and again, trash on the floor. I asked to speak to the manager-Marlon-who came over after a wait. I asked him to step over to the drink area where I said that he needed to have one of his workers tidy up the area. Well...he DID see that the place was a mess BUT his response was "we're busy". This was just before the dinner rush when the area SHOULD HAVE already been readied for the dinner crowd. THEN this "manager" Marlon started yelling at me-"YOU CLEAN IT UP"-my reply was "no, you're paid to do that, not me". After him yelling for me to clean it up and creating a huge scene, I went to the cashier and asked for my money back. The manager had to make the refund...long story short I stood there while he took his time doing whatever he was doing. All I wanted by then was my money and to depart. By the time he came over to refund my money, the police were there. This substandard excuse for a manager had called them. He told the cops he "wanted me barred" from the place (as if I'd EVER enter that filthy place ever again ). Got my money and went outside where even the cops admitted the place was "kind of a mess". Between this McDonald's and the one just off I85 in Lavonia (where a rat was videoed drinking from a soda cup that was waiting to be handed to a customer) I am TOTALLY AFRAID to go to any McDonald's in the area. read more
