it's January 2023 and the last I remember their ice cream or milk shake machine working was wayyyy before thanksgiving 2022. they always say it's broken. well why isn't it repaired by now? could it be that they just haven't cleaned it out and said it was broken for the last 4 months or so????? seems if it was broken then corporate would pay to repair it or buy a new one. p.s. the employees are super rude and seem to hate their job! read more

I frequent here more than I'm willing to admit in this review. It's an above average McDonald's compared to others. I usually use the drive-through which is always pretty quick, in my experiences, and the employees very friendly. The food is on par with other locations (nothing groundbreaking there). On the few occasions I have gone inside the service seems somewhat slower inside then drive-through. With so few restaurant choices in Hampton, it's a nice option. read more

It's not very often I can leave a good review about a McDonald's restaurant but today I had the Best experience at my local McDonald's. We had a Mix up with my order and when you think of that happening at a fast food restaurant usually you think of teeth sucking and bad attitude but today I did not have that experience. The drive thru worker was very pleasant and helpful while getting the problem resolved and after all of that I forgot my debit card, the Manager Hikeem Ran it out to me at the stop sign! Wow is all I can say after visiting the McDonald's in Hampton SC. Day shift is ok they're generally more friendly and seem to have their act together. Afternoon and night shifts are completely opposite and absolutely ridiculous just due to their overall attitude and the atmosphere they reflect. You will wait 10 or more minutes to have your order take and another 20-30 minutes to get your food. Do not be expecting a simple thank you or a sorry for your wait comment because all you will get is a look like you're breathing the last bit of your oxygen in the room. This place needs a renovation on people from the 12 pm shift on. Complete morons that lack a will for ever being more than a minimum wage junkie! read more

This restaurant has recently had a facelift (remodel), and looks pretty good. Hampton doesn't have too many of places to eat so this McDonald's gets very busy at lunch. Breakfast on the other hand seems doesn't seem so bad to me. The employees are pretty good and overall friendly. They have signs up saying they offer mobile ordering now, I need to check that out. They screwed my order up. They didn't have any milkshakes and half of their menu isn't even available. We asked for a MOCHA FRAPPE and they gave us a Macchiato and then we needed a SWEET TEA and they gave us a sprite. They didn't ring our stuff up right and when we had to switch our milkshake to a caramel frappe they didn't put hardly any whip cream and a shitty amount of caramel. This store has about the worst customer service. I ordered a kids meal cheeseburger amongst other orders, got my order and got home to realize my daughters cheeseburger had everything but the most vital part of the burger...THE BURGER! Can't make an iced coffee to save their lives. Not everyone likes their iced coffee 40% caramel, 40% cream and 20% actual coffee. God forbid you ask them to remake it.
