There was a young man working at the drive-thru who had blondish hair with dark brown roots. I'm not trying to be unkind, but he had a noticeably large nose and looked like a teenager. He was extremely rude throughout the interaction--constantly asking me to repeat myself even though I was speaking clearly and loudly. His overall attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. On top of that, he gave me the wrong amount of change, and I had to point it out to him in order to get the correct amount back. We love Mc'Ds sausage, egg and cheese on biscuit sandwiches and their breakfast burritos... What we hate is MacDonald's corporate and local management decisions. We have recently had TWO very irritating attempts to place breakfast orders at the McDonalds on Eads Parkway in Greendale Indiana. About two weeks ago we got to the McDonald's at 10:10am and my wife placed an order for two sausage, egg and cheese on biscuit sandwiches and a medium orange juice. At about 10:40 am my wife finally got her order after standing in a long line of other irritated customers. And the counter person apologized for the delay, but said THEY are required by management to fill Door Dash and drive through customers BEFORE the fill counter customer orders!!!!! And she apologized because they ran out of orange juice. So today, the 15 of May 2023, we got to the drive thru at 10:21, knowing that it was their policy to serve Dior Dash and Drive thru customers first so we could get our breakfast order in before the 10:30 switchover from breakfast to burgers!!!! But again we were screwed. May wife got to the speaker at 10:24 at asked to place an order... No response!!! She asked again. No response!!!!!! So I yelled "We'd like to place and order!!! No response again, except they suddenly changed the menu at exactly 10:24 am to the burger menu and a guy yelled through the speaker that "Breakfast is closed!!!" What happened to breakfast until 10:30!!! What happened to fulfilling drive-thru customers first???!!! It seems MacDonalds is in the process of killing all sore customers in preference to Door Dash orders!!! If you want food from MacDonalds, ya better order it though Door Dash to guarantee you are going to get it!!! Oh, by the way, 10:30am means 10:30 am, not 10:21 or 10:24!!!! read more

My family has gone through the drive thru and ordered door dash a handful of times within the past month or so. We ask for extra breakfast sauce on our bagel sandwiches every time. 4 out of the 5 times they have not provided that extra sauce. I wouldn't be as upset if we weren't charged for it, but we are. Every single time. Ashley, the manager, told me she personally made the order and that she made it right. She barely listened to a word I said as she was highly defensive and aggressive. I kept trying to explain the issue with my orders and she kept interrupting me. I shared with her that, that's not appropriate for a manager to speak to a customer that way but she continued to raise her voice. I told her that I've received sandwiches before where you can visibly see the sauce on the edges of the sandwich. She immediately blamed her staff saying they did it wrong. This Mickey D's is always crowded and they do as best they can with the amount of drive-through and dine-in traffic they get! The service is usually petty quick, the orders are right 80-90% of the time, the food is freshly prepared and good and the staff seems well trained and polite! This restaurant absolutely did not want to serve a bus with 26 hungry students. Here is the story. We spent an entire week in NYC for a senior trip. Flight got delayed for hours as we waited in the plane to leave due to weather. Finally get into Cincinnati at about 1:30. We found this 24 hour McDonalds online. When we got there the doors weren't open, (which I understand) We tried to talk with them on the drive thru mic but a manager came out. He said that they would not serve us (which is their right) because it's against their policy to serve walk ins through the drive thru. His excuse was "there is a high percentage of robberies this way." So you are saying that 26 students regularly walk up and rob this place. You could have at least been a decent human being and taken our order. This place is trash. read more

Yeah so it the 25th of April and my husband and I just went through the drive through at the greendale indiana location. We ordered to simple breakfast sandwiches and some how his sandwich wasn't even the same one he ordered and mine which was an egg McMuffin literally just had sausage patty. We just finished working 13 hours was on our way home obviously we stopped so that we didn't have to cook when we got home it was convenient we were tired. We got halfway home and realized our sandwiches were completely wrong drove back the lady who took care of us was very very rude. I asked if we could be given a store credit considering that it was inconvenient and we were very tired and had to drive back to the restaurant in order to get the correct food that we ordered. And was told no we are fixing it right now. That however does not make up for us having to turn around halfway home and drive back to the location. So I then asked her if she could have someone else please take our order because she was being very rude I didn't like it and it was uncomfortable. She also said no to that. I ask her if I could speak to her manager come to find out she was the manager . What kind of business puts someone who treats customers that way in a management position. Her name was penny hunt and I am definitely going to report her to district and I still can't even believe how rude she was it was out rite disgusting and childish which is silly considering all we had done wrong was return to have our order fixed and requesting a store credit to compensate for having to return to the store we were tired and it was most definitely an inconvenience. I took a video of her as well I ask her a second time just to be clear you are denying us a store credit for compensation because your fixing our order rite now and there isn't anyone else who can take our order because your being rude and it's uncomfortable and her response to both was yes. A gem is Karen- the lobby lady. She truly cares about providing great customer service. She looks out for the customers- getting forgotten condiments , topping off a coffee for customers, getting the orders out quickly, making sure everything is clean, etc. The place can get slammed esp. on weekends and certain times of the day. read more

I came into the restaurant on Sunday morning and was going to carry out my order to my work. A number of people touched this order and all of them made mistakes on it. I ordered their breakfast muffin with bacon, scrambled eggs (not egg whites) and cheese with coffee cream and sugar. I got no sugar and no scrambled eggs. Things should be simple but for everyone, it was difficult. Do not go here. Go to the fast food place across the street. At least they get your order right and do it quickly. This McDonalds was not busy with customers getting their orders so employees were standing around adding to the drama. The manager out front seemed to be in a state of confusion. She was taking out orders to customers seated at tables. She should have had others do that and manage the flow of orders. I checked to make sure I had napkins in the bag and etc. had to ask for jam, knife, and sugar again. When I opened up my sandwich at work I realized I got egg whites instead of the scrambled eggs I ordered and just threw them away. read more

The rating would actually depend on what time of day you go. If you go at night there is about a 80% chance that your order will be wrong or stone cold, after waiting a long time. Try getting a smile from one of the teenagers working the drive-thru, nearly impossible!! Day time is much different.
