My rainy-day savior! It was something of a disaster: my picnic lunch had been rained out, and I needed somewhere cool and dry to get some coffee and finish my meal - and there was the good old Golden Arches, glowing with promise. Sure enough, in minutes flat I had a tasty iced coffee, plus a wonderfully air-conned dining room to drink it in. With that, my lunch was saved. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a McDonald. They had so many people working but they were not getting food out. I just don't understand. Very little urgency to take care of their customers. Very concerning. I will not stop here again. Work ethics is a great thing and it was not evident by my visit today. Sad. read more

Stopped to grab lunch on the way to Myrtle Beach. Very fast and quick! The young lady working the register was extremely friendly and helpful. This McDonald's location in Georgetown is a nice stop when you are hungry and have that McDonald's feeling. They live up to expectations and more here as I have had an excellent experience every time I have been through here as it works nicely as a stopping point on some of my travels. They always claim that the machines aren't working (frappe/ice cream) but people who have worked there in the past admitted they use this as an excuse because they simply don't feel like cleaning the machines out. The people they hire are rude 90% of the time despite treating them nicely and the fries are always cold and gross. This is outrageous. read more

I paid for a coke icee; their machine was down. I was asked if I'd like another flavor. I did not. The employee then offered a large coke. I inquired as to the price difference between the icee and a large Coke. The employee advised the large cokes were no longer $1.00. I was somewhat skeptical and was correct when the manager asked the employee who made a false statement "what about the price difference"? I used to visit there every now and then, but today March 14, 2022 I walked in there with my friend getting food before we went to work and one of the workers shouted out that I look pregnant to everybody and that was embarrassing. McDonalds has a somewhat Diverse menu except I miss the barbecue or McRib sandwich. The people who work there are polite. However, I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, but the guy who made it - put chocolate syrup in instead of Caramel. I heard the girl who I ordered from tell him twice, that I ordered Caramel Not Mocha, but she still handed that same drink to me, instead of telling the manager, or doing it herself. Plus, whenever I ask for a Frappe, they say that the machine is down, and they had to order a part, yet I saw them serve Frappes to someone else the other day. The following week, I asked for a Frappe again, and got the same response. So, there is a lack of communication among the employees, which is bad for customers! read more

My review has improved after speaking to the manager, she has had a hard time getting these young kids working there to properly greet customers. My emails to the manager have eased me, now knowing that she spoke up at a corporate meeting, telling them that she has requested a training session for these kids. read more

The new dual drive-thrus are a plus, but people have a hard time handling them. They act like they've never seen a drive-thru before. The service in the morning is speedy quick, super fast. In a blink of an eye, your bag is in your hand. The inside looks really nice. I enjoy each visit, but also realize it's hit or miss with the lunch/dinner staff. read more

I only gave one star because their was no choice to give NO stars. My daughter, granddaughter and I went in on Monday, May 18th. Had been on a boat tour so of course went to the "Ladies" room first. When we opened the door there was a man standing at the sink with a child sitting on the sink. Was so shocked I just stood there for a moment. Went back out and told the girl at the register, who relayed the message. We stood there for a little while and when we asked if they were going to do anything, the girl just did her shoulder up and said there wasn't anything they could do. WOW. You would think the manager could at least check it out. So NEVER feel like the employees at this MCDonald's will lift a finger to keep you safe. Don't really understand why the guy would have had a problem taking her in the Men's bathroom since his shorts were down below his butt. read more
