The menu had lots of options, and online reviews said "get the Freddy burger" or their battered fish as both were highly recommended. However, Dan recommended their Open Face Roast Beef. So, we went with Dans recommendation....and WOW we were so pleased! Our food was delivered hot and YUMMY. The beef was tender, delicious and the gravy was FABULOUS! Not out of a jar fake gravy-but tasty gravy. Real Mashed potatoes green beans that were cooled to perfection, not mushy. DO NOT MISS THIS GEM!! You won't be disappointed! My friend and I talked to a few locals who came in and they all raved about the Freddy Burger, but ordered the Roast Beef at our recommendation. On a typical Friday or Saturday night, you'll usually see mostly townies and a smaller group of college students if it's August-May, probably from Hiram College down the road. The college kids can get wild sometimes but they bring a fun, refreshing feel to the bar. But, like I said, it depends on the occasion- there are a few times I've been there that it was almost completely dominated by college students. The service is great all the time. Sometimes you'll go there and there will only be 10 or 12 people there, other times the bar will be packed with 40 or more people, but the service remains consistent.
