No one at the counter when we came in, or for 5 minutes after. They were all scrambling around in back. Totally disorganized staff, which is a management issue, not the workers'. No one was standing around, everyone was busy, just nothing getting done and lots of shouting looking for things, etc. The food wasn't bad, but it was barely warm. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt by saying maybe they're making the stuff to order, but nope. Just took forever. No line to order, but lots of people waiting to get their food. Anyway, the fries were crispy and tasty, though not hot. Sweetie's filet o fish was okay. My sweet bbq chicken sandwich wasn't bad, but again, lukewarm. Oh, and No ketchup at the self-serve area. If I'm in the mood for McDonald's I will drive out of my way just to go to the one in Garden City. They have the freshest hot fries! Like just pulled out of the frier hot. I always go through the drive-thru. My order is always accurate and the staff is friendly enough. Even if it's close to closing time. Well... I can tell you the drive thru is not trained to take orders properly on their 2 lane system. I was in the outside lane with a mobile order as 3 cars passed thru the inside lane and I saw their orders the entire time. Was told to pull up. Once at the first window (pay window) they didn't activate my order until I repeated to them my mobile order... which then slowed down my order getting ready... and once received I did not have all items... by that time I had been in the drive thru for 20 minutes. If I could give no stars I would. An extreamly arrogant rude woman shamed a woman for pumping (she breastfeeds her baby) while in her car. The woman wasnt showing anything, only the bottles were sticking out. The lady laughed at her a d then slammed the window closed on her in the drive through. Countless times I go thru drive thru in the late evening and wait up to 10 minutes for someone to answer and quite often I just end up driving away. I almost feel fortunate when someone realizes I'm there. I get the whole shorthanded thing but this happens way too many times for too long of a wait. Is it possible to leave a rating that's less than one star? Listen I know we're not qualifying McDonald's as fine dining but you should be able to have a reasonable expectation that you will get a mediocre breakfast sandwich at a fairly inexpensive price. On this visit to McDonald's in Garden City Georgia it was an epic disappointment all the way around. First of all no one came on to take our order in the drive-through, so we pulled forward so we could place our order at the window however there was no one in the window, so we pulled forward to the second window at which point we still had not given our order and they asked us to pull back through the drive-through and start the whole process again. I declined and told them that I was not moving until someone took my order at which point they ignored me for five minutes and finally returned and took my order for a sausage biscuit and coffee. But not before asking me to pull to the side and wait for them to bring it out to me. after waiting another 10 minutes I had to go inside and get my order as they had forgotten to bring it outside to the car. I live here and won't go here. They have a phone number that goes to a cell phone with a full VM, the idea of courtesy is something else I guess you have to pay for, adding pickles to a chicken biscuit in the morning is impossible. I was told pickles are a lunch item?? The restaurant is geared towards a computerized experience and even with that I have to listen to how, while people are in the lobby, that,"This place ain't sh*t, all these people got me f*ed up thinking I got to "SERVE" them!"
