This is an awesome McDonald's! The cashier was super nice because we only had one coupon for the wild berry smoothie, but she let two of us get the smoothie for only a buck! My other friend ordered a John Wall sweet tea with a HUGE chicken wrap thing for 4 dollars. There are a lot of kids playing around in the playpen area, but I am concerned that some of them were barefoot inside the restaurant. Even though the restaurant is newly remodeled and brands itself as Yuppie-friendly (think "LIVE WORK PLAY SHOP DINE"), I don't think y'all should be barefoot. One kid sadly dropped his entire order of fries, but they gave him a replacement order of fries FOR FREE! CNN is even playing in the background, and they happily post their nutritional information right as you walk in. Sadly, McDonald's is not vegetarian-friendly. The mushroom burger was taken off of the menu because it was not popular enough. Damn dog. I asked if they had an eggplant burger, veggie burger, or falafel wrap, but they said no. What the fuck man? Did you know that salads make up only 2-3% of all of McDonald's sales? Also, do you know the proper way to write "McDonald's sales?" Is it "McDonalds' sales" instead since McDonald's is the name of the restaurant? What about "McDonald's' sales?" I don't know; I'm didn't minor in English. read more

I came here for a quick breakfast sandwich. I used the drive thru and they were very efficient and the ladies at both windows were in good spirits. This way a great spot on a Saturday morning during a busy time. read more

The staff was welcoming and friendly! Our food came out quick, they brought it to our table with a smile and it was fresh.

African lady in the front was very disrespectful and cussed at us do not recommend this McDonalds.

They never get the orders right they take too long to give you the food and bad customer service

This is got to be the worst McDonald's around of course McDonald's food is not good for you but when you just want to get a small snack I got a greasy burger cold fries I had to wait and it was not busy at all everybody just walk past me like I was not there they were so worried about the drive-thru five people running the drive-thru it was ridiculous the tables were dirty read more

Extremely rude people. Nobody is at the cashier and none of them want to help you out or take your order. Needs better staff and to be more family friendly to costumers. Never coming back and I hope nobody does either. read more

McDonald's - Horrible costumer service - Fast Food Near Me - Gaithersburg, Maryland

Orders are often wrong at this location. I'd say it's a fairly standard McDonald's experience in general, though the customer service has gone downhill in the past at least couple of months. I usually come through here for my kids, and something is almost always wrong. Either I ask for plain and it isn't plain or something is forgotten entirely, or just now I ordered a pie and was given cookies even though the receipt said pie. More than once I've been told to wait at the spot where you go when your order is taking longer...past the actual drive through windows, where you can see into the restaurant...and then forgotten. I waited 15min with sundaes melting in the car once when they said the fries weren't ready. I eventually went in and it was very clear I'd been just forgotten about. I've been given multiple drinks when I've ordered one and while, ok free drink, it's still wrong. Please...just give me what I ordered. read more

The food tasted nothing like chicken, the order never got made, I was ignored 5 times by people walking by, I tasted more lettuce than chicken and that's hard to do because lettuce tastes like nothing. read more

I've had terrible service here enough to never return. On the most recent occasion, the employees behind the counter were mocking me. I guess as an average looking white guy, they didn't think I speak Spanish...but SURPRISE, I do. Not only is this location one of the worst McDonald's in the area, the owner actively works to hide this. Read the reviews and you will see what a disaster this place is. Food quantity is often below McDonald's standards, if the food is even edible. Yet the business owner tries to flood this page with endless amounts of McDonald's stock photos. read more

McDonald's - "Medium" fry - Fast Food Near Me - Gaithersburg, Maryland

This location is the worst! The guy, young Hispanic guy took my order, didn't greet me, just said "yea", that should've been my clue to just pull off. I ordered a large meal, my fries were cold and old, I asked for fresh, hot, fries, I waited for equally as bad fries. Needless to say I will not be back to this location for shit. read more

Placed a mobile app to order breakfast which I did about 10 minutes before it was over when I get there I was told that because breakfast was over my order was canceled the cashier proceeds to get the manager (he name is Flor) so she can explain my refund I explained to the manager what happened I guess she could see the look of disappointment in my face because I had my mouth set on that hash brown and McMuffin she tells me she will have the kitchen make me my breakfast even though they were serving lunch the way she made sure I was happy before I left shows great customer service I just had to leave a review read more

About a month ago, I stopped by this McDonald's and grabbed something to eat. I was in a hurry and after I left the restaurant, I realized I didn't have my phone. So I went home and checked the location and it showed that my iPhone was still there. When I went back and explained, 2-3 of the employees (ladies) were very helpful, and one even brought out the trash bags and helped me look though them. Yes, I accidentally dropped my phone in the trash bin and they could just say sorry can't help, but instead they went above and beyond. read more

McDonald's - They never fill the cup all the way up. I should get a full cup for $4.23. I could have went to Starbucks. - Fast Food Near Me - Gaithersburg, Maryland

This mcdonalds sucks. I live right next to it but literally waste my gas to drive to the mcdonalds in Derwood or Airpark. They always give you an attitude when you ask for extra sauce (or anything for that matter) and act as if it's the biggest inconvenience of their lives when I ask for a cup holding tray bc I ordered 3 drinks and my car only has two cup holders. Teach some common sense to your workers. Don't let the fancy renovations fool you, horrible service and incompetent managers and workers. read more

OK - the food at this McD's is just like all other McD's. Let's face it, McD HQ doesn't like variance from their master plan. My issue with this McD's is the service. As this McD's is right across the street from my house, everytime I need a quick bite to eat (usually on the way to the gym on the weekends...yes I realize how stupid that is. Let me be.) this is so convenient that I always seem to forget how annoying this place is. To start with, the drive thru window. They seem to inevitably always put the one employee that has a super heavy accent, or a speech impediment, or has a terrible sinus infection on this window, so you can't ever understand what they are saying. Are they asking me to repeat my order? Did they ask me a vital and pertinent question about my food? What?!? Secondly, the employee they put at the second drive thu window (the one that hands you the food), seems to have an issue with parting with sauces. I love sauces - especially the hot mustard sauce. I usually ask for 3 or 4. Yes, it's a lot of sauce, but I also usually order the 2 hamburger meal (no longer on the "official" menu, but they will still do it), so it's not completely unheard of to need extra mustard. She likes to only hand out one or two. So then it becomes a battle of the wills over who wins. So yes, I am that jerk that is holding up the line by refusing to budge until I get my extra sauce container. Sorry, but it's not like her pay is docked for giving me an extra sauce packet, and I really really really love the mustard. So shoot me. Finally, it's the overall lack of independent thinking. Yes, I realize that this is a chain fast food joint. Thinking is not a quality that they try to instill, yet one would expect basic leaps of logic to be made. Case in point...my 2 hamburger meal. Yes, I realize that it is really known as the "2 cheeseburger meal". But as I do not like cheese on my burger, I will ask for the "2 hamburger meal". They, in turn, will look at me as if I just ordered in Chinese. I will then need to say "the 2 cheeseburger meal, without cheese"...and I can tell from the lack of a flicker of comprehension behind their dead, glazed over eyes, that they have no idea that they just punched in a 2 hamburger meal. Only thing saving this place from getting an abject 1 star, is that because of the "mass confusion" my ordering a "2 hamburger meal" causes, they usually will give me 2 bags of fries and 2 drinks, instead of the one of each that comes with my meal. Heh. read more

I'm a fan, the chick working behind the counter was very nice let me use 3 coupons at once. Got a filet a fish with extra cheese which is $.30, I used 2 coupons to get a $2 quaterpounder and a $2 big mac. I should have asked for no middle bun in the big mac, and extra onions on both. Food always tastes the same, not sure why people think otherwise. Sauce cost money they aren't free anymore unless you go inside. The inside was very spacious and very clean. I thought everything was fast. Would definitely come back. read more

First thing I want to say is I just read the reviews about this McDonald's. This blows my mind I've had awesome experience I love the manager GM Francis. He's amazing. But as a management myself it is hard to find the perfect staff. This location is super clean. I worked at a school and we did a fundraiser here and the owner was very generous. Yes I will say I will go out of my way to go to this McDonald's when I need my French fry fix read more

Customer service here is horrible! I asked a lady at the drive thru (the last window who gives food) a question and instead of answering me, she turns around and speaks to her coworker in Spanish. Didn't even bother to look at me. And I spoke to her in Spanish! Very annoyed. Not the first time I have experienced issues here. Guess it's my fault for coming back read more

I found them very discriminating . At first I asked may I use the bathroom , answer no. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it's because of covid, found a bathroom at a nearby gas station bought something from them for letting me use it . Then I went back to the McDonalds to order through the fl drive through . I am a white female ... who was simply asking the price of the fish sandwich and the girl at the window was answering the question wrong telling me the price of the coffee , to me it was really a none issue until the 4th time when I explained to her she wasn't understanding my question and I was told it's not her problem and to go to the manager . Well actually it is your problem if you don't understand English and most people would understand if you gently said , I am sorry I don't understand could you ask my manager , but this was not her answer and in general the whole staff that worked there had that same vibe ... so if you want a more pleasant experience go to dunkin donut where they hire a lot more diversified employees who celebrate being in America and other cultures !!!!!!! Ps. The caramel coffee was so watered down I literally could not taste the coffee I was the better person by not going back and returning it , but seriously it was so diluted it was white not brown .. ugh what a waste of money, calories, and my time ! read more

HORRIBLE Customer Service! I was standing waiting for service for over 5 minutes and they kept ignoring me. I finally asked if I was invisible. The woman stared at me and asked "what do you want"? If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've never written a review but I had to download yelp just to write this review. I've had bad service but nothing compares to this. This McDonald's was almost empty when I walked in, no one was in line and the workers were mingling around in the back, after 15 minutes of them looking at me and talking then a manager comes out and tells one of cashiers to come over and I think finally someone to take my order, but no, she just ordered for herself and the cashier left! Wtf! After about 7 more minutes, someone finally comes over and rudely takes my order and mocked me for asking "for here", I guess because I was alone, and refused to give me my change until I said thank you. I've never been more rudely treated and disrespected. I don't expect much from McDonald's but come on now. read more

I absolutely hate this McDonalds! Every time I go through the drive-thru my order gets screwed up. Sometimes they even ask me what sauce I want when I'm ordering and they don't even give it to me. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever had the displeasure of going to. They ALWAYS get our orders wrong, especially when going through the drive thru. The lady at the window serving the food seems to have a problem with handing out sauces or straws. I ordered a 20 piece nugget for my sister to share and I realized there were no sauces in the bag, despite having asked for them while ordering. It's ok no biggie. So I ask her for some sauce and she gives me two sauce packets. -_- And it doesn't help that she slams the window after so I can't even say anything. So I waved again and told her that I had a twenty piece order so I'm pretty sure I get more than two. She said "well what do you want?!" I told her the same ones I just asked for. I'm really not sure why they have someone with such horrible customer service at the window. read more

They wanted to charge me extra for sweet and sour sauce through the drive thru.

This McDonald is terrible food was cold and they charged me for a large when I said a medium.

Every time we go they always get our order wrong or forget like half of the items. customer service is awful upfront is okay but drive through is always rude especially this one manager. Once we went by and he was on his phone so he didn't get our order ... we had to repeat our order at the window. Second time he said pull up to the window yet there was no on there so we drove to the second window and he got mad he shook his head whenever he passed us by and was in general just really rude.
