We were 3rd in line at the drive thru. Hard to fathom, but we did not move for 15 minutes. Finally received our 2 cold Big Macs 5 minutes later. Never sat - without moving - in a fast food drive thru that long, and I'm 58. Stopped at this place several times before - all of which were a bit slow, but this time it was record-setting. Every time they either take forever on the food, give poor customer service, have dirty facilities, get my order wrong, or all of the above. Today was no different. Fries were ice cold, ketchup was out, waited at the counter for nearly 10 minutes while no less than 6 workers scurried around doing nothing trying to act like they didn't see me. We just went through the drive thru at this McDonald's and we had a crazy order with a lot of special requests (no mustard, just cheese...). They got everything spot on! Plus it was quick and fresh. I will definitely stop the next time I'm in town! read more

I just came into the drive thru of this McDonalds location. The young lady who was at the drive thru window during this time on Sunday, September 16th @ 4:11pm wasn't very pleasant. I was just passing through on my way back home. No worries I will never come back to this location again. She huffed and puffed when I made a change on my order. If you don't want to come to work, don't come. If you feel like you need to be doing something else with you, do it. That's what happens when you have a full black staff working at a fast food location and always get much attitude and shitty service. The manager gave me my food and he act like he didn't want to be to work either. Never got a receipt which you suppose to get one with every order. There has been improvement sinve the hiring of the new GM. Anyone who goes here for food has to keep in mind that this mcdonalds in a college town and not near the University of Florida campus, and it is a franchised facility. There are not as many employees available for working hours in the afternoon and evening. When you order food have them make it fresh. read more

I have worked by this McDonald's for the past 7 years, and have had the ability to visit hundreds of times. As of 11/15/2018 I have had enough trouble with this establishment that I will never return. There have been several management changes over the years. The service slightly improves for maybe a month then goes back to the horrible service they are known for. I constantly have to repeat orders at the speaker box, busy or not. The receipt machine is often down at the payment window and I have to ask for one when I get my food. I always have to check the food to make sure it is correct, especially the drink. The food is often cold, even when ordering items made to order. My biggest issue with this particular location is the service. There is rarely a friendly staff member. A simple hello how can I help you, will be a sparse phrase at this location. There is almost never a thank you, they hardly look at you when handing you your food and seem annoyed if you complain about the order being wrong or items missing. Today I had to fight to get a receipt at the drive thru window. I was staged to get a receipt. I had to park my car and wait for a piece of paper. During a 30 minute break period. They gave me the wrong receipt. when I told the staff member that brought me the receipt it was not mine, she looked at me and just walked away. I went inside, the staff must have noticed an angry look on my face because as soon as I came in they asked "did you get the wrong receipt?". It was a 10 minute ordeal to get a receipt that should have been given to me at the payment window. The building I work in spends hundreds of dollars at this location a week. I will make sure to tell everyone I speak with about my experience and see if they still want to spend their money there. I WILL NEVER SPEND MY MONEY AT THAT LOCATION AGAIN read more

This is one of the WORST McDonalds I have ever went to. Just went through the drive thru with a friend and ordered a Big Mac and a quarter pounder meal. The fries weren't ready after waiting there for about 5 minutes at the window, they said, so we were told to pull up to the #1 drive thru sign. We were literally sitting there for over 15 minutes after that. I went inside with my receipt and I told a lady at the counter that I've been waiting for awhile at the drive thru, they said they were waiting on fries. She came back with our order finally. My friend and I were going to refill our drinks then the Coke was MOLDY and FLAT coming out. Like, mold hanging from the Coke fountain. I was in a rush to leave to get on the highway, so I didn't complain right there, that's why I'm on yelp. I got Powerade instead, that shit was bad too. I hope I don't get sick from this McDonald's cause it was so disgusting and the employee's were so slow. This gas station/McDonald's needs to be remodeled and redone completely. AND THE FRIES WEREBT EVEN FRESH SO WHAY THE HELL WAS I WAITING ON. I was starving AF so I just ate it. I hope I don't die. 0/5 stars. Get new staff ASAP. Every time I go there and order a set tea it's awful. One time it had so much sugar it was like a syrup. Other times it just taste like unseeet tea. When asked for a different sweet tea. I got it out of the same tank. I even said it doesn't taste like sweet tea. It makes me frustrated. Definitely won't come back to this location. read more

Horrible! I don't eat McDonald's anymore, but I wanted to write a review for those who still do. Do not go to this McDonald's! I went there late at night; I had just gotten off of work and decided to go to McDonald's since I didn't feel like cooking and I was tired. I went in ordering my food and being as polite as I could be, because I know how horrible some customers can be. The cashier gave me my cup, and I realized that my cup was torn. I asked her politely if I could get another one because it was torn. The cashier looked super pissed, she wouldn't even look or acknowledge me. She just handed me the cup, and when I told her thank you, she just ignored me looking down. I wanted to throw the cup across her face and get my money back. This is the worst McDonald's in the world! I ordered in the drive-thru, paid and waited TEN MINUTES for my order. Finally, I asked the cashier to see what was holding up the line (there were two cars in front of me). She comes back and is pushed out of the way by Andrew, who claims he is a manager. He commences to berate me for not waiting patiently and told me that I was welcome to "try other options." He was weaving and bobbing and wagging his finger in my face as he told me off. I reminded him that it is fast food, and a drive-thru, not a sit-down restaurant. Also, I told him he was rude and unprofessional, and demanded my money back. We bickered back and forth as he continued to tell me that I could get food someplace else. I kindly drove across the street to Wendy's and got my food--hot and fresh--in four minutes. Andrew wouldn't give me the store number and wouldn't let me speak to another manager. So, this is my last resort. He was so nasty, as if they are giving away the food for free. I have come to this Mc Donalds a number of times since it is by I-75 but todays expereince had to be the worst ever. I ordered a buscuit with egg and cheese a hashbrown and coffe. Apparently this was to much to ask for so I was asked to pull into a wait spot so I waited 3-4 min past then a lady came with a big bag and grunted at me when I repeated my order. I got into the car, it was not mine. I went inside then I was ignored each time that I tried to say this is not my food. No one was making any progress nor cared that I was not served. Once 3 more people were served I demanded the manager and he was not helpful and I never did really get what I ordered. I discovered that I was also overcharged as they did my buscuit as a la carte ie charged for each item. Each time I have come here it is a mess wheater it is busy or not. This was the final straw for me. Also I was not the only person who was not served the others were complaining too. BTW I tried to complain on the McDonalds website but it does not take complaints. read more

Ok, I go to this mcdonald's because it is literally right down the road from where I work, but I'd rather go all the way down to the one on 43rd from now on. I've never had the best of experience at this one, but after today I am done with that one. Last week, I waited 30 minutes for 10 piece chicken nugget, fries, and frappe. I literally watched a girl come in after me order same frappe & was in and out as I still waited for mine. I also watched everyone that came in after me get in & out as well. Including a man that walked off with a 20 piece chicken nugget. The guy that took my order finally asked if I had gotten my food. (After he asked one of the managers to make my frappe while she was making the other girls, but never did), so he asked after he made mine. I said nope, and I just watched that guy walked off with a 20 piece as I've been waiting. Then, he irritated me by asking for my receipt (even though he was the one that rang me up) as if I was standing there that long for nothing. Then, literally 10 min ago when I went, I got just a fry, apple pie, and frappe.. that's all. The least they could have done was not re-dip used fries back in the dirty grease.
