My education is in Hotel Management and I'm super fussy about customer service and food quality. Once you've been there once, I love that the owner treats you like family. He knows I prefer vegetarian foods (or local grass-fed beef) and always has suggestions for me that may not even be as shown on the menu. I've seen him add a free chocolate chip cookie to a parent's order, when he sees a child with them. His attitude is "it's only a cookie, but the parents will remember me for it and, hopefully come back". That is exactly what great customer service should look like, but we all know that rarely these days is anything free. His potatoes with queso is a delicious Mexican treat with melted cheese etc.). He offers "bowls" for those who prefer not to have bread, although the burritos and quesadillas are awesome!
