We were both pleasantly surprised at the decor, menu, etc. Reminded us of County Donegal. I started w Stella, Seamus w water. We then split a basket of fried mushrooms w "shamrock sauce". Excellent w a hint of horseradish. On to one of the specials - Irish meatloaf w green beans and smashed spuds. Both of us. We offered kudos to one of the chefs. The meatloaf consisted of ground beast, corned beast, chunks of carrots and other veggies. The spuds were infused w rosemary (not sure of her last name). The beans were paired w fried onions and bacon. A rich gravy accompanied the meal. Our server, Grace, was graceful, friendly, attentive, and efficient. All in all, a fantastic meal. 15 leprechauns; 5 for O'Dells, 10 for Grace Highly recommended

The food was delicious, generous portions, and there was a huge beer selection plus a full bar. The highlight of the evening was our server, Lulu. She was so attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind -- checking on us often, keeping us updated on our food, and taking time to chat with us. She truly made our dinner a 5-star experience. We'll definitely be back!

My fiancé and I have been on a Route 66 "kick" lately. Somehow, this place flew under my radar, but…read moreI am glad that I found it! I love an authentic Route 66 stop, and this is certainly one of those. From the road, it's difficult to tell how big the place actually is. Once inside, it opens up and really shares its character. We went on a Thursday evening, and it was packed, but not uncomfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone. Our server was friendly and efficient, and she seemed genuinely invested in customer experiences. Our food was outstanding, and there was plenty of it! We even had room for dessert: a chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was the size of a dinner plate! This was an outstanding indulgence, and I can't wait to have another one, as soon as my glycemic index allows. LOL The restrooms were pretty darn rough. Urine all over the floor, overflowing trash can, filthy toilet, etc., gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned since the Route 66 days. Here, I am not focusing on that, since it's not what we came here for. Our overall experience was fantastic and memorable. We look forward to returning to this special historic establishment.

Unfortunately, they allowed people to park under it, so my grandmother had to get out of the car in the rain, and the rest of us ended up getting soaked as well. We waited nearly an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was just average. The only thing positive what that we had a kind server. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and we'll likely choose a different restaurant in the future.

Wow! An amazing hidden gem in a small town that is sure to please any palate!…read more The service - 5 Stars! The staff treats you like family and are on it, no matter how busy. They are fun and made us want to keep coming back (which we did)! * Sammy - you are SPECTACULAR! The food - 5 stars! From the pretzel and yummy cheese to the pizza, absolutely spot on. The French onion soup had a depth of flavor and topped with an oversized piece of bread covered in cheese - heavenly! The salads are fresh and the dressings are on the top of the list I have tasted. The atmosphere - 5 stars! It's a lovely, yet smaller restaurant that is decorated to suite any person that walks in. Extremely clean and the patrons all know each other. The owners are welcoming and care about their customers. It's like dinner and a show with the entire interactions. I need to try the BBQ next time I'm in town!

Their fries are shoestring, almost similar to McDonald's, which isn't my favorite style at a sit-down restaurant. Next time I would probably order one of their specialities as they sound a little more exciting than what I got.

This restaurant is easy to get too, has adequate parking and the restaurant itself is casual and inviting. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly and attentive. Our young waiter was especially helpful with the menu. The food came quickly and was good. Unfortunately, not great. My wife and I both got the trio of meats, brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All were cooked well but under smoked for my liking. The sides we tried were all fresh but again, just good not great. We will try Gastropit again but honestly have had better tasting barbecue at nearby competitors. I know it is relatively new to the scene so overall, it was a good experience!

Cocktails for the night featured a classic old fashion, not the one on the menu. Really well executed with Knob Creek rye. Also had a special Paloma which was tasty and perfect for a summer evening. Dinner included: - Cuban with fries. The missed orders this and she called it one of the best in town. 4.25 - small barbecue salad with pulled pork. This dish, priced at something like $8, is a nice "lightish" meal. Ordered fries because I can't help myself. Salad and fries: 4.25 each.
