Stopped today on my way from South Bend to Kalamazoo. Finally after 22 mins I got a refund because my food was still not ready. 4 cars in front of me were asked to "pull ahead", I should have said NO but I didn't. When I finally went inside the person at register apologized and said we should have updated you that we burnt the cookies 2 X's. The manager was rude and the restaurant wasVERY DIRTY. We also tried to order a Mc Flury but the machine was down. We stoppped at the White Pigeon MCDonalds as we continued home, ordered the same thing and got it in less than 5 mins. When you order at the drive thru and pull away to realize the order is wrong. So you have to park to go into the establishment to be treated rudely by Michele who was a manager. Wow. When I was asked what was wrong I explained I received the wrong breakfast sandwich. She had the nerve to tell me I was probably lying to try and get a more expensive sandwich. When I produced the receipt she finally gave me the correct sandwich but refused to apologize and told me to find something better to do then to complain I got the wrong food. Just went through the drive thru - took 3 times as long as normal but the worst was the cashier blowing her nose something fierce and then going back to work without washing her hands. 7 minutes later as I was waiting on my food - Oatmeal and a parfait - I heard her telling her co-workers how sick she was and they were talking about saltine crackers for her - get her out of there as if the rest of us want to get sick from your employee. BTW the Oatmeal was the runniest I have ever had - and I never can quite figure out why it takes so long to "make" it. More often than not at this place I am told to pull ahead to wait on it. - water in a cup - how hard can that be???? read more

Hands down the worst McDonald's I've ever been to!! Waited 30 min in drive through!! Yes I'm the dumbass!! Get my food and it's cold and my large fry was half filled!!! I go in to complain and the place was trashed!! Garbage everywhere and the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional!!! So them give me a medium fry to make up the diff!!! I get back to my car to realize the fries are over cooked and hard as a rock!!! I gave up and left!!! Every person in that place should be fired!! Has huge sign that says all day breakfast but it should say until 11 because after then all they have is mcmuffins so the sign should read some breakfast all day. I was there at 11:20 and they said they couldn't keep all the breakfast items all day I said well you don't need a sign that says all day if every sandwich item but one is all u have read more

WOW. This McDonald's is abysmal. Upon entering said location you are greeted by the warm scent of feces mixed with a hearty dose of body odor. Tried to use one of the "new-fangled" self order kiosks at the behest of an employee-- who then had to check no less than three times to see if they actually had the items we were attempting to order. When I remarked to her that the kiosks could put her out of a job, she gave me the only genuine smile I received from an employee during our entire visit and said, "I could care less." So after ordering, we had ample opportunity to experience the full range of the fragrant apathetic ambiance that is this restaurant. From the cluster flies enjoying the warmth of the tv screen in the lobby, to the greasy opaque windows, to the toilet paperless bathroom (which was a actually a relief, as I did not want to make ANY intimate contact with the seat despite my overfull bladder )-- to the numerous employees on their cell phones, arguing over who was making the food----our 25 minute wait for 2 drinks and 3 sundaes was truly an experience. The capper was that no-one seemed to know how to make my husband's iced latte. The circus of incompetence that ensued rivals Barnum and Bailey at their finest. The young lady, who I actually felt bad for because she was new, simply wandered around the kitchen with a cup of ice for about 5 minutes, asking repeatedly who knew how to make this?? She finally tried on her own, and presented him with a cup of iced milk-- to which my husband said, "wow-- that's REALLY white..." They both laughed-- and she admitted she had no idea what this drink was. The coffee was finally added-- but only AFTER he told her the drink contains it. The only reason we didn't pursue a refund was we did not have another half hour to spare. Quality of service and food==zero stars. Entertainment value and laugh factor ==priceless. Don't waste your time with the drivethru, you're missing out if you don't go inside for the full show. read more

Previous review dead on regarding perfume. I couldn't drink my Coke because the person with the perfume or lotion held it and smelled of the fragrance every time I took a sip. My bacon egg cheese biscuit was cold/old. Egg was cold. Biscuit which usually are warm and soft with butter was hard. Service was quick 7:30 read more

By far the worst service I have ever had very bad experience not just once but every time. I used to stop by this McDonald's on my way home to pick up food for the kids and no matter drive thru or going inside is horrible service. The employees r rude and very lazy they talk loud to each other while u order and don't pay attention to what u say. I have waited for fries while others received there hot fries. By far the slowest worst McDonald's around very sad to see what used to be Americas staple of fast food go down the drain. The service was very poor as well as the cleanliness it needs to be looked over a bit better on a surprise health inspection. read more

I've had to grab breakfast on my morning commute twice this week and both times I went to McDonald's on Cassopolis Street. The two-lane drive through seems to be a real strain on their ability to keep orders straight. The first time, I did get the right thing but only after the clerk admitted she didn't have any idea what I ordered. The second time, I clearly got someone else's food. For now, avoid the drive through here if you can, unless you have the time to go back inside to fix an order. read more
