Just went into this lobby to order food with my boyfriend. The manager is AMAZING!! I wish I would have gotten his name. He helped us with the kiosk, checked us out and had our food made fresh!! This is possibly the worst McDonald's I have been to. I visit this area frequently and I have never had good service here. Super slow. They run out of supplies constantly, what McDonalds runs out of pancakes AND orange juice for a week straight? Employees are usually stoned, also not a good look. "I'm quadriplegic, my driver is too deaf for drive thru Used online app, completed order for stall #5.... After 15+ min called in. Was told no curbside, no counter pickup, and dispite our disabilities no exceptions. Short Staffed. His driver was out of time and he had to miss lunch. Shame on all of you. read more

We rarely get McDonalds and now I remember why. We stopped here and got dinner through the drive through. The drive through attendant took half our order and then asked us to wait, which ended up being about 5 minutes of us just sitting there wondering if she forgot about us. Then she had us repeat everything, which is fine, I understand wanting to get our order correct. We asked for BBQ sauce (twice) for our chicken nuggets and it was still forgotten. Chicken nuggets were cold. They gave my son the wrong milk, even after specifying. Our drinks were only filled half full. My husbands tarter sauce wasn't even on his fish sandwich, it was only on the side of the bun. The window attendant literally did not say one word to us. Not even "hi" or "thank you." Almost felt like calling and talking to the manager, but it's not worth it. Won't be returning. read more

Made a complaint with McDonald's on 05/28/22 about my hash brown's having a bit out of it. They don't have the doors open at 6am so I couldn't take the food inside to show them and they don't answer the phone that early either. Regardless I made the complaint with this particular restaurant, I also made a complaint on their survey. Since that time I haven't heard back from McDonald's at all! Not a call, not even an e-mail. McDonald's lack of any response shows me they really don't care about their customers at all. Okay I know it's McDonald's, but this place was on the lower end of the McDonald's food chain. Service was extremely slow. The place was dirty. Papers and straw wrappers all over the floors three of the four tables we looked at or dirty and I actually had to get water and wipe it's so that we could sit down and eat. The staff are unfriendly food service zombies, the bathroom looked post apocalyptic, and the fries -- oh my God, the fries of all things -- tasted like the frier oil hadn't been changed in a while. The service was sloooooooooow. The lady calling out numbers when orders were finally ready yelled them as people stood 3ft in front of her. Passive aggressive much? For a McDonalds, it's not that bad. Is it slow? Yes, it definitely is. Some of the food is good though, like the specialty sandwiches and glazed chicken tenders, but they do need to clean the fryer more often. We had a great experience here, the staff was friendly to my family of 5, and even let my little ones choose a different Happy Meal toy from what they originally received. The part that really blew me away though happened a week after our visit. We had lost a Fire Tablet somewhere between Chicago and Minneapolis and figured it was gone forever. Then we received a package in the mail with a nice note from a manager there saying one of his crew members had found the tablet and they held on to it waiting to see if the owner returned. Ugh. The employees general form a circle and marvel for three minutes if you pay with a Sacagewea dollar coin like a tribe of cavemen, that should give you an idea of what to expect. The service is medocre at the best of times. The food at the drive through is wrong at least half the time, forcing you to go back in and get it correctly with the general unhelpful and less than brilliant staff. At times the food is unacceptable/inedible even from MacDonalds and that is saying a lot. My wife is addicted to MacDonalds coca colas and she won't even set foot in this place after getting the greasiest McMuffin I have ever seen in my life and when she asked to have it replaced she was told that is the way they come. Even my two year old wouldn't bite it. Drive the extra 8 miles to Janesville. They DID just perform a massive building renovation which got them the extra star, or it would be one star. read more
