I ordered a $5 McDouble meal deal on Saturday around 6 pm that came with a double cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, a drink, and fries for my daughter and I to share. I ordered through the app and drove over there and sat in the pick up parking spot for maybe a minute when the lady came out with my food. It was fresh and hot. She forgot my drink but with a quick reminder she was able to grab it for me. The fries weren't salted at all but I was able to do that at home. Would give zero stars if I could. Have not been to McDonald's in probably 6-8 months, and after a hectic day my wife asked if we should just pick something up. Fast forward to my wife and kids opening our to-go bags. No sauce, and fries are half EMPTY. I decided to call so the location manager would know the situation. I wanted nothing in return. Manager answers and I introduce myself and he refuses to give me his name. I explained the situation and asked if they are doing okay over there. They tried to cheat me out of money. I ordered and paid for a large smoothie. They gave me a medium sized smoothie inside of a large cup. When I asked them to fill it up, they informed me that the smoothie machine wasn't working properly for the large size cups. So instead of telling me the smoothie machine is not filling up for that size when I first ordered it, or just charging me for a medium, they decided to slightly tilt the cup when handing it to me in hopes I wouldn't notice. Holy shit, worst fucking McDonald's I've ever been to. I've been going here since middle school, 8 years, and they still suck. It's not that hard to get an order right. I see people standing around doing jack, two days in a row now they've been absolute garbage. They ask for my code, I give it to them. Then they take 10 minutes after the fact to ask for my order, I give them my order then I have to repeat myself twice!! The most previous time they insisted that I didn't have two reward orders when I did. Then that took for fucking ever, there's a god damn screen you can look at. We've never had an issue with our food at this location. Everything is prepared and tastes as expected. We also enjoy the play place inside. Easily one of the most poorly managed McDonald's. If you're going through a drive-through and they tell you to go park plan on being there for an extended period of time. This place is a prime example of out of sight out of mind. Absolutely horrible iced coffee. I loved McDonald's coffee but for some reason this location can't get it right. Sometimes it has too much milk or they use water instead of milk or no sugar. I wonder if the franchise owners a) read these reviews b) even care about avalanche of negative feedback they're getting! You'd think they'd want to make some major changes to try turn things around but this location is consistently horrendous. I understood when it was new and they were "ironing out the kinks" but those kinks have now been the norm for months. Get some experienced management in there! You can't expect a bunch of inexperienced high school kids to be able to manage and run a fast food location. They clearly can't. I do NOT understand the new changes either. They updated the interior but reduced the till down to one (which no-one mans--ever). They took away the soda machine so I assume you have to go up to the front if you want it refilled, fighting your way thru the crowd all standing around waiting for their orders...They now lock the bathrooms electronically and once again, you have to go up to the front to request to use the bathroom. 2 of the 3 self-serve kiosks were not working and they're incredible slow and confusing to use for most people anyways. I get the concept, but the execution is awful. So, I ordered thru the mobile app on my way to this location and drove to curbside pickup to see signs saying "technical difficulties" meant curbside wasn't available. So I went inside to pick up my order. What a complete Zoo! Tons of people standing around waiting to pick up doordash orders, all crowding the same pickup counter as where dine-in (and now curbside) orders were being dropped. I waited 35 mins to get my order of 4 things and it looked like someone had assembled the burgers by throwing the ingredients from the other side of the restaurant! The paper wrappers were falling off, covered in oil, and the food was cold! No ketchup in the bag, despite asking for it. I also heard one employee be incredibly rude to customers asking about their orders. If I were corporate, id have these guys up for review in seconds and really reconsider their franchise agreement. Went inside because it was super busy in the drive-through lane to get a large Coke could not get anyone's attention attention whatsoever and finally got the drink. They. Don't. COMMUNICATE! I have several members of my family who have celiacs disease and we just wanted some ice cream. I told them SPECIFICALLY that I didn't wanna send anyone to the hospital and yet, whomever took my order didn't tell anyone the severity of the situation. The lady taking my payment didn't know and I told her to tell those making the food. Did she? Nope. I got to the window and they HAD CONES ON THE ICE CREAM!!! This store is not one you want to go to. I ordered online in their app and when I got to the store there was no screen showing the order numbers and what their status was. It took 10 minutes for me to get my order which consisted of a large french fry and a large diet coke. They do not have a self serve fountain for sodas that you can fill yourself. Horrible McDonalds. The line was 20 cars deep so we went inside and the kids played in the playground, which was full of food and cookies. My kids wouldn't even play. I ordered and waited almost 32 minutes for our food in which all cars in the drive thru had already been served. I had to ask the girl, who was not at the counter, if they were serving anyone inside or attending only drive thru customers. Once we got our food there was ketchup all over the OUTSIDE of all the burgers, and they were so sloppy. Burgers should be stacked, not all ingredients thrown in a wrapper. So sad to have a new McDonalds already turn to shit. If we come back, we will try the drive thru and cross our fingers it's a different line cook. read more

Ok so first the play place is simple but still occupies my kids for an hour so that's major points. It does tend to be a little messy in there but that's because it's constantly busy with lots of families in and out. It says as clean as it can. As long as I don't come during rush hour, I'm never waiting too long. I usually have the correct order and everything tastes like what I expect from the comforting predictability of McDonald's. Like my husband says, nobody wants to admit we like McDonalds, but we all like McDonald's. The cons of this McDonald's are : you have to ask for the bathroom to be unlocked and you have to go to the front for every condiment, straw, utensil, refill etc. there is no self serve station and that drives me nuts. The fries they give me consistently are not thoroughly cooked. I told them at the ordering window to please cool the fries throughly. You can tell they aren't cooked all the way through when you eat them. This must be a process mistake that probably will never change. Half the time, I don't get ANY sauce with my chicken nuggets. I must double check the bag only when I happen to get the sauce. Twice in the past month, they gave my order to someone else. Then, I had to wait while they got my order again. The reason why I get fast food is because I need the food when I am in a hurry. They get the drinks right nearly all the time. How many times do we get the wrong drink somewhere else? A lot. POSITIVES: Honestly, the simple fact that we have this McDonald's in EM is a plus. The drive thru line, while wacky, works (now that they have cones and pylons to direct the flow of cars of those ordering and exiting). We got our food in a pretty timely matter considering how busy it was (20 minutes full process from getting in line to receiving our food, at around 12:30 on a Fri). The employees here are mostly young teens, but they've been helpful, cheerful, and efficient despite the stressful circumstances. NEGATIVES: We waited through the entire drive thru line hoping to use a mail offer for the new Crispy Chicken sandwich, only to find out they were completely sold out.
