Nestled inside this location is a Starbucks AND they had a hard to find studded lilac cold tumbler my friend has been looking for!!! The main reason for ur visit was to grab lunch in between hockey games. My kiddo was beyond satisfied with the in house fried chicken and momma was happy with the sides - I always love the root veggies and baked beans. We got the family meal and it was more than we could eat - even with a starving hockey player, lol. I'm happy eat in dining was allowed - Freson Brothers dining is always comfortable and easy. I appreciate the self serve water and coffee station. Two thumbs way up! We will definitely be back on our next adventure to Drumheller! (So why 4 stars insured of 5? Grocery prices here are higher than average. So if cost if your biggest concern, I wouldn't pick this as my one stop shop. That being said, they do carry a HUGE variety of options including local, organic, and their house brands).

All the baking supplies are in a kind of faux pantry simulating one's own kitchen. The produce seems to be displayed by color so one is surrounded by reds, greens, yellows and more. There are many many local products from produce to jam to locally roasted coffee. A giant candy section includes old-fashioned to most recent candy with everything in between. To top it all off there are unique gift items on display throughout.

The dining room was not too large but was made efficient with table placement. We ordered at the counter then were assigned a table by the woman who took our order. There were a few other patrons when we arrived. Our food came out in about ten minutes. I had a double cheeseburger with onion rings and Andrew had a mushroom burger. His burger had a gray mushroom sauce on it that made the burger sloppy. Andrew enjoyed it. My burger was not your typical burger. It seems to be hand made and had some seasoning on it. It was a bit too salty and and also kind of tough. It was good though. The onion rings were typical. Business really picked up while we were there with many more customers. If I were to go back I would get the chicken finger basket. One of our co-diners had that and it looked good.

Classic cheddar cheese not just a Kraft Singles piece of plastic. I ordered the Santa Fe pizza. Loaded with huge chunks of bell peppers, chicken, sliced tomatoes, and the perfect amount of hot banana peppers. Both of us were beyond satisfied and enjoyed our meal. If you're daring or starving they have a 24 oz burger or a 18" ~ 6 lb pizza to try. The milk shakes were delicious; and if you're going to order a pizza, either order 2 or add a glass of water on the side. This is because you're going to be done your drink before your food arrives they're so good. The staff were friendly, quick to tidy the tables as they were emptying and very polite. The dining room was bright, each table painted differently and designed by someone local. Very charming. So coming back when we have time and are driving through.
