Pulled up to the door to go in the dining room to order. There was a heavy set guy with glasses smoking a cigarette. As I got out of my car, he said the dining room was closed I asked him what time it closed. He said 10 PM. I told him it was 9:50. He said the lobby's closed because they're short staffed and suggested I go through the drive thru. I let him know not to worry about my burden and left. Most of my reviews are 4 or 5. The fries were undercooked and room temperature. The burger was overcooked. Usually McDonald's food is very consistent. The tables need to be wiped. They charge $1 for a cup of water. I don't mind paying 25-50 cents, but a $1 is unreasonable. read more

I always leave reviews and I tell it like I see it. I don't lie nor do I beat around the bush. The McDonald's is terrible in the evenings. Stopped in this evening 12/02. It took almost 25 minutes to get my meal. I was the first one on the kiosk screen and no one really ahead of me unless you count drive thru and it wasn't that busy. There was NO ONE working the front or even paying attention. Several ladies came in from the drive thru because things were left off their orders. They stood there also waiting for acknowledgment. After 23 minutes (and yes I did track the time) I received my meal. I asked the young man why it took so long and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I never saw a manager in the back, not sure who was in charge. Whomever it was needs fired. I ordered a McRib meal with two apple pies. Once I left and got back on the interstate the pies were cold. It was like they were just pulled out of the fridge. I had to throw them away. No way to heat them in a 18 wheeler. The fries were old and greasy and the McRib, which I had high expectations for was a let down. I don't know if it was the sauce or the meat but it didn't taste right. The only thing good about my over priced meal was my coke. The restaurant was clean and the tables wiped down and floor was clean. I normally stop here for breakfast and am in and out in less than 10. A lady behind me was very aggravated and said the wait wasn't the first time for her and it is just getting worse in the evening shift. Terrible food and terrible service and a waste of hard earned money. Will never stop here again on my travels. NOTE: I did try to call the number listed and no one would answer. Absolutely terrible service. I ordered online at 5:20 and waited in the drive thru for several minutes in one line while the other line proceeded to move. I then changed the order to be picked up curbside at around 5:30, waited until 5:40 came in and asked about the meal did not actually receive meal until 5:53. There is apparently a huge staffing problem at this Mc Donald's when I was there. Walked in to order however they did NOT even give us our complete order! Two bid breakfasts include eggs, biscuits and hash browns. Pancakes We received one order and it was not complete. Plus the coffee so bad mud would have tasted better! ( Mc D coffee was always good this time they dropped the ball on the entire order) Called the store upon driving home only to have it ring and ring with no answer. I ordered a steak egg and cheese bagel meal Friday at 6am. I ate nothing else the rest of the day. By 1pm my stomach was not feeling right it felt upset with some pressure and a whole lot of discomfort. By 7pm still not eaten anything else because I felt so nauseous and no appetite. I left work early and headed straight home even though I needed to make a few stops. I was too sick feeling to do anything else. Soon as I got home I was in the bathroom on the toilet with diarrhea and throwing up in the shower at the same time. Food poisoning!! Had to take the next day off of work. I had stomach pains so bad, horrible diarrhea, nausea, fever, and chills. I got a very very bad case of food poisoning from this place. I'll never go back to this location. I don't know if I even want McDonald's ever again in general after that experience. When I was eating the steak bagel it's consistency was off the steak was chewy like it had a lot of spots with fat, it didn't taste the same. I should have taken it back but was in a hurry to get errands done before work. That is absolutely the sickest I've ever been in all my life. One star review on this. Workers should have never served this food. It is real simple to check dates on food products and simple to follow required food safety regulations. read more

Easily the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, walked inside to pay with cash and the workers got so heated and yelled out loud to use the kiosk. My fiancé did a mobile order through the drive thru and when we pulled up one of the workers who yelled was all flirty and nice to my fiancé. Worst part about it is he was dressed as a manger(don't know if he was or not). Food was cold which is normal for fast food anyways, got my order wrong which again normal. read more

We stopped here for a quick bite, and after waiting and being treated rudely we walked out. The inside was dirty with paper and food containers all over the floor. Also there was ice cream spread across the floor and the soda area was awful. We waited in line for over 15 minutes and were never greeted or spoke to, we must have been invisible. I went through the drive-thru and was the only one of two cars in line. I ordered a sausage biscuit, cinnamon roll and coke. I was told to pull up pass the windows and wait. I waited for 8 minutes and decided to walk in (because I had a client waiting back at the office) and to my Surprise, there was not one customer in there. However, there was a middle-aged lady behind the counter talking to two off-duty employees/kids, and a young boy behind the counter, all the while her right hand was scratching her crouch. I walked up and showed her my receipt and she was very rude and told me that I had to wait. I saw my food on the counter behind her and, maybe, I said things I shouldn't have, but she was absolutely appalling. She actually even called me "stupid". So, I told her that I was not the old obese lady working at McDonald's that she was the one that obviously made poor life choices (I should've walked away and not said anything at all, especially the part where I told her to quit eating all the product herself). I am not usually controversial. Best part, as I am leaving, she said, "God bless you, honey, I'm a Christian" She was yelling at a high pitched register and I shouldn't have confronted her but even the lowest pest can push the wrong button, I guess. She was at least 300 pounds, and I am barely 115. She could have crushed me to bits by just leaning on me. That could've gone very poorly for me. Also, my biscuit was squashed because when she finally handed it to me, she wouldn't let go so the bag ripped and it hit the floor. She never apologized or attempted to be courteous in any way. I am afraid that she may be the manager amongst those young people as everyone was just standing around listening to the loud mouthed lady laughing loudly at her own jokes before I apparently interrupted. On the plus side, I have stopped there before and there is a sweet and efficient lady that works at the first window in the mornings. A little staff adjusting please. read more

I have to say that the early morning shift is very fast and polite, even at 4:30 in the morning, and even on Easter Sunday. Later in the day, it is a crap shoot, so that brings the rating down a bit. Twice I have been unable to get my fancy coffee, which is my whole reason for stoppng at all. I only mention this because they did not tell me this untill I had already paid for my mocha. Again, the early morning staff, is very profesional. As long as there is no locally owned coffee shop* open at a reasable hour (for coffee drinkers) they will continue to get my buisiness. *I go to Leiah's Wraps in downtown Dandridge for french press coffee, when they are open. read more

Pulled in the drive thru at approximately 8:50pm. No other cars, and only two cars in the parking lot. After approximately 10 mins had to call inside to find out why no one was operating the drive thru window. By that time there were 6 cars lined up behind us. After calling a couple mins later the drive thru operator asked to take our order. Our total is $10.85. We get to the window, give the girl a $20 bill and she gives us back $2. Immediately we said wait, that's not right, and we looked at the receipt she gave us and it was not our order. However, she couldn't/wouldn't correct it, so we had to go to the 2nd window and get someone from there to give us our correct change and correct our order. Seriously, some of these employees want $15 an hour. On top of all that, no apology. read more

This McDonald's is the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. I was in drive thru for over 30 mins , from the time I ordered to the time I got my food. There was only 3 people running the place (I asked). The employees are rude and the food was ice cold and my milkshake was melted..I was traveling and so if I had the time would have turn around and said something but I ended throwing it away and I gave a bad survey. Then the next morning I called and spoke to Larry the morning manager and told him of the situation and he was short and hurried me off the phone. The district manager needs to get involved and see what needs to be done. If I find corporate's number I will be calling them. McDonald's is supposed to be known for quality and fast. I get it, I worked McDonald's too and it about speed and quality but this store just threw it out the door. They have kids that work there and need assistance and structure but this store needs a wake up call. The employees are probably burnt from being short handed but you can still put on a fake smile and be nice. I was driving home with my parents from vacation...my parents are in their 80's... and not just a little break down. The alternator needed replaced. The care we received at this McDonald's was unbelievable. It was so wonderful to see that people car especially during this uncertain COVID-19. Thank you Thank you Thank you for all the care. THEY ARE BACK! I was there yesterday morning (Thursday, March 22, 2018) and it was full of people and cars and people at the drive-thru! The service was swift and there were plenty of employees inside that were busy. The food was hot, tasty and all I have to say is don't forget to get your coffee before driving away. The semi-truck parking is different. I didn't notice that they had parking spaces for regular cars and trucks on the semi-truck parking level as they used to have. Otherwise, I'm GLAD to report they are truly up and running now! Congratulations on your completing all your construction and remodeling! Now, business can be "as usual" again. Walked in to get 3 shakes. Hardly anyone in the place & no patrons at the counter. One employee was telling a story and everyone else was standing there listening (it must've been VERY interesting). The cashier, at the counter, had her back to me and was leaning on the counter listening intently. Several of the employees made eye contact with me when I walked up to order, including the one telling the story. No one made any attempt to wait on me, or even signal that they were aware of my presence, so I walked away... to take my business elsewhere.
