Whenever I have my son and its just a mommy/son date night, I often ask his opinion on what he wants to eat... 9 times out of 10 he will choose McDonalds... if you go inside, I've never had an issue, the food is always to be expected, and never had an issue.. However....yesterday I was STARVING and i decided to grab a chicken ranch snackwrap, a small fry and a small iced tea.... i eat my fries, then on to my snackwrap.. i have no idea what the heck it was, some kind of bbq crap but it was NOT my ranch snackwrap..... I was sooooo heartbroken bc i had my heart set on what I wanted, so thanks for that McDonalds.. we will continue to come back, but for the love of food please make sure your workers get orders right! read more

Drive through attendant butchered my simple 3 sandwich order. When I arrived at the payment window(different) team member. She said she couldn't fix it. Went to the pickup window and yet another team member failed to provide decent customer service. I explained that the first person failed to get the order correctly, he said that wasn't his fault, I said I needed an additional sandwich and fries, gave him my credit card. Saw him take my car , charge me order, hand me my order, w/o my drinks. I asked for my drinks, was handed drinks and left. When I got home, no additional sandwich or fries. Upon returning to restaurant, I confronted that same employee, he proceeded to tell me that I DROVE OFF WITHOUT THE ORDER. THEN TOSSED THE FOOD BAG ORDRR ON THE COUNTER TURNED HIS BACK ON ME AND WALKED AWAY. IT WAS MY FAULT THAT HE DIDN'T TELL ME THAT MY ODER WASN'T COMPLETE YET. NO APOLOGY, NOTHING. Not sure what happened after the owners sold the franchise, but this location and the one in Waterloo has gone downhill. Ordered a meal inside, and the fries were way overdone. Bathroom and lobby floors dirty. Drink station has gnats flying all over. Just the overall cleanliness in both locations is lacking. Walls, tabletops, trash cans and chairs haven't been wiped down forever. Poor management overall. I would give zero stars if I could. I went through the drive through at 12:07pm on Thursday . When I was handed my food I pulled up to check the bag. I noticed they didn't give me all of my food. I told my 10 year old daughter to go inside to get the missing food. I thought they just forgot to put it in the bag. She goes to get out of the car and I hear. You need to move. Pull up in a rude voice. I looked into the mirror and saw it was the person working the second window. I told my daughter it was fine so she goes in. My daughter comes out and I asked my daughter if she could ask them for a refund for the items if they didn't want to give them to me. She said ok mom and went back inside.i was thinking that the manager on duty was probably getting ready to get involved bc of how her employee was behaving. I guess I was wrong and I wish I wouldn't have asked my daughter to go back in because when my daughter came out the second time I told her to just get in. Worst customer service ever today at lunch. Went to pay at window. Cashier handed card back to me without even a "thank you". Proceeded to pick up window, and was handed a medium drink. I asked if this was the large size (ordered meal "large"). Window employee said "It's a medium". I asked if she could verify I wasn't charged for a large. No response. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, not even my worst enemy. If I could give it a zero, I would. I moved to this area a little under a decade ago and this particular McDonald's has always been the same in regards to service. When you are actually able to order food, it is rarely correct. I've had to return on various occasions due to issues from missing items, things not being plain when requested, or onions on food when specifically asked to have no onions due to an onion related allergy. There have been a few instances of food that previously had onions on it that was scraped off and served, with bits of onion left and residual onion odor. There has also been many times that I've ordered fries and they are either inedible because they are old or inedible because they are undercooked and feel like you're eating paste. Then there is the issue with "NO ICE" being a foreign concept. When specifically asking for no ice I receive one of 3 things; Ice in my drink, No ice in my drink but it's 2+ inches from the top, or the rare correct drink. I guess when you have a machine doing your work for you it is difficult to push the button for the extra 3 seconds to fill my cup. I'm paying for a large, it would be nice to get a large. Now for when you can't order food. This location is a 24 hour location but can't seem to operate 24 hours a day. There are many instances that I've come through late at night to be told "cash only" in 2017 where they seemingly haven't figured out how to send in credit card transaction reports and still take credit cards. There's also been many times I've been turned away because they are "closed" but forgot to turn the lights off outside when they are actually spraying for gnats, flies, and I hesitate to think of what else; which is apparently bad enough that it needs to be done several times a week. In regards to wait times, the worst experience I've had is a 27 minute wait in the drive thru. All in all I am surprised that the owners still have their franchising agreement because any other company would've more than likely terminated or by now. This location is an embarrassment in every sense of the word and will not be seeing another dime from me until something changes for the better. I've previously contacted the corporate office and nothing gets done in the end. If the quality of service, product, and experience won't change, then apparently my spending habits will. read more

This experience was awful. The place or at least the drive through was packed and I took that as a good sign that they would turn over food quickly. Boy, was I wrong. We ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, fries and cokes and 2 Happy Meals. First, they forgot the French fries with the Happy Meals which maybe isn't the worst thing except that we paid for them. My husband went up to the counter to let them know, they never brought them out. The soda was out so we only were able to fill our cups about halfway. They were also out of ketchup. After numerous trips to the front counter to let them know all of these issues to no avail, we sat down to eat. Me saying the food was not hot was an understatement. Yes, this is a popular fast food restaurant in Columbia, and yes, most times it's very quick through the drive-through. But if courtesy is your thing in this small city, go to Burger King. When taking your order, you won't get a thank you, when handing someone your money you won't get a smile or thank you, ..you may get a thank you when you pick up your order at the last window. One of the most important things that i was taught by my parents and by past employers was "treat people the way that you want to be treated." this is literally the worst mcdonald's ever. i usually expect like the lows of the lows from mcdonald's but this is the absolute WORST. i tried to mobile order so i could avoid the people because they are never nice but then i arrive & clicked curbside & it charged my card then it said there was a problem and i needed to go throw the drive thru so i waited in a very long line because it's 7 am. finally got to the window & said my mobile order code, got to the next window where i literally heard the one worker say "oh she just did it wrong" but i ignored it. then to the next window where i said that i had a mobile order & then they walked away. then a manager came back & said my payment never went through (even though i had a notification from mcdonald's and my bank that the payment was taken) and told me i had to pay again. so i listened to her because she was pretty much yelling at me so i did it & it charged my card 2 times and she said she would refund it. then to top it all of, because of how long i was at the window, the people behind me flipped me off because they were so mad. i HATE mcdonald's but especially this one & the people around here. read more
