I came through the drive through today to order a large caramel frappe no whipped cream. As I tasted the frappe it seems as if they had mixed the caramel syrup used for iced coffee into the frappe so I had to turn around & ask the crew to remake it for me. Like who does that? Murphy's Law. Anything that could go wrong, did. To start, the place was filthy. Handprints on every glass surface. Cup stains, grease, and food leavings even on the "clean" table. One table was dirty when we came in, and it stayed that way until after we left. Note, it was not busy. The wait was long. And despite advertising table service at the self-service kiosk, we did wind up having to go and pick up our food from the counter. There was no effort made to ensure that the food was actually ours. If someone else had wanted it, they could easily have taken our food. And of course, the food itself. Our burger was messy and sloppy, with way too much mayonnaise. I'm talking easily a couple of spoonfuls. The pickles were haphazardly thrown in on the sides. The nuggets and fries tasted stale and old, and left me with a stomachache after eating them. I'm surprised OSHA hasn't been called on this place for its blatant safety violations. If I could rate this zero stars, I would. Do better, McDonalds. read more

This afternoon my youngest daughter and I went here, and when at the pickup window after being given my food, the clerk told me to pull up so he could give the car behind me their food. Well, I could not pull up because there was a car in front of me past the pickup window waiting for their food. Thr clerk then said in a surly tone, I TOLD you to pull around the car! I responded that there wasn't enough room to do so. I asked him to have an employee tell the car in front of me to pull up to the Drive Thru One parking slot (for cars waiting for their orders). He me that "I ain't gonna do that". Then the car in front of me FINALLY was given their order and was driving away. As I was pulling away the pickup window clerk was screaming at me...I couldn't caatch what he was saying but it was something unpleasant. The mobile order process was fantastic and painless. The food was hot and fresh. The staff was overall very friendly and welcoming. I'm giving the location three stars because of a horrible manager. I do not know her name because she was not wearing a name tag, nor was she in uniform. The employee who was handing me my order also went to make my soda. When I walked in one of the the other employees gave me a cup and I got my own soda, but this wasn't communicated to the employee getting my food. Being that I ordered online I can see the confusion with who is suppose to get my drink for me. The manager made it seem like the employee had committed some horrific, fireable offense for trying to prepare a soda for me. She started to publicly berate the employee in front of me, other customers, and coworkers, all over a SODA. The employee kept a smile on her face the whole time and was very polite toward me. The manager gave me a half smile and said she was sorry, but as a former retail manager I know how absolutely unacceptable that is. It really brought me down because out of the McDonalds I have been to this one had the friendly staff I have ever seen, so it really bothers me that their managers speak to them like that in front of other employees and customers. To try to "speed" things up they will clear orders before they are filled but then they forget what the orders were and have people waiting a long time. This is the closest location to us so that's why we keep coming back but after today's wait we will be going to a different location. Oh, and forget about mobile orders. My son and I both ordered the McRib. Our sandwiches were very sloppily prepared with BBQ sauce dripping off the package. Our meals were served on a tray that had what looked like BBQ sauce or catsup underneath so I got a surprise when I picked the tray up...yuck! Unsweet tea was behind the counter, so I had to wait for refill.....not convenient when there are customers being waited on. Not the best experience, but the McRib is delicious!! read more

Ok. I go to this McDonald's a good bit because it's convenient and close to my house and cheap. Sometimes they have good service and sometimes it's as bad as it gets for fast food. Tonight I went through the drive thru, most all restaurants that are still open use gloves in the drive thru, I work at a restaurant and I know that we are supposed to use gloves. Tonight I didn't see one person in the drive thru that was wearing gloves and it kind of ticked me off. Also it took quite a bit of time. When I got home I had a mcchicken and a double cheese plain. Both sandwiches looked like they just threw the ingredients in a wrapper and crumpled it up. The cheeseburger was unbearable, I couldn't bring myself to eat it!! It was cold and smelled like it had been sitting on the counter for 40 minutes. I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. Hey. It's McDonald's, so lets be reasonable. This locatiin was rebuilt earlier this year and most of the staff was replaced. But the new staff should be trained by now. Way to go McDonald's! Breakfast speed was phenomenal. in fact, the food was waiting for me, instead of the other way around. The bacon egg and cheese biscuits were what one would expect.. Nothing spectacular but what you would pay for. What I like here at McDonald's and annoys me SO much at many fast food joints is the splitting of price between meal and drink. Here you see is what you will get plus tax of course. I have been to other fast foods where the price of a meal is a decent price, but doesn't include a drink. I live close to it, so I frequent it when I don't have time to go to the other end of St. Andrews~ I just left there with an order of an iced coffee and didn't taste it until I got home. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to!. They don't give you good food most of the time the fries are under cooked and the burgers taste like they've been sitting for a while. They are rude to their customers & give you attitude if you go back and say they messed up your order. This is one of the worst locations I have been in. It smells dirty as soon as you walk in. The exhaust fans clearly do not work the entire store is filthy from what I can see. We went there through the drive thru yesterday around 1ish. Not too busy. Average steady flow. The young man on the speaker was less than enthusiastic to take our order. No big deal. Not my problem if you don't appreciate having a job. So we pull up to pay for our noncomplicted order. My sweet girl loves to down the window and speak to the employees. Well, usually 99% of the time all of the employees have made her feel special and interact with her. She is clearly excited to say hi. Well he was the 1% . My child starts crying. I had to lie and say he just didn't hear u. Strike 1. He opens the door to give me my change and practically tosses it in my hand. Change falls to the ground. He closes the door and proceeds on to what ever else he is doing. So I sit there , and sit and he opens the door again and asks me if I have a second order. Dear goodness....come on man. I said "no, my change is dumped on the ground and I can't get it." So he leans over and looks at it. Tells me to drive forward. I look at him and say "can you just give me my change?" As in open up the register and give me what you tossed in my hand. So I said "is someone, a manager going to come out and get it for me?" I was beyond pissed at this point, not about my change, but at the lack of consideration and poor customer service. So we pulled up to get our food. Thank goodness for the sweet lady at the window. She said "oh are you the one who's change dropped?" I said "yes m'am" I tell her the amount and she hollars out "does anyone have a quarter". Problem solved, it was that simple. I placed a mobile order for breakfast that I intended to pick up through the drive-thru. When I arrived at the drive-thru speaker at 10:24 AM, to give my order number, I sat there waiting to be greeted for a full minute. I tried to initiate my order and was told to "hold on" and "give them a minute". Two more minutes pass. I said "hello" and I was once again told to "give them a minute." I replied, "If I keep waiting, I'm not going to have time to check in for my mobile order." They laughed at me over the speaker while saying "Well, we're having technical difficulties ma'am." Making me wait so that they could switch over to lunch. I wouldn't be able to get my order. This is not the first time this happened at this location but, it WILL be the last! On the app it says you can pick up stuff until 10:29 a.m. for breakfast. But they actually stop serving breakfast or taking breakfast orders around 10:24. Completely offended! Apparently, they found it hilarious that I knew exactly what they were doing. They had no intention of letting me check in for my breakfast order before time ran out. I frequent this location at least 10 times a week for my family. That ends today! Disgusting rude service! read more
