I ordered a four piece strip from this place and I got charged for it but when I opened it up, it was a three-piece. I called them to try to tell them they need to keep an eye on their workers, but the manager named Brenda told me when you come back just give them my name and I'll replace it And she did not even let me finish telling her that I already dropped off my friend and I was heading out about 20 miles back. I'm not coming back for another two weeks maybe and honestly, I was just calling to let her know that she needs to keep an eye on her workers, but she immediately shut me down just wants to replace it and normally I don't care I mean, yeah I was sitting there for a good five minutes before they finally noticed that I was sitting there I didn't even care about a refund. My grandmother sent me to this McDonald's to get her a sausage, egg and cheese McMuffin well, well done. All I was met with was attitude because they didn't understand what I meant by well well done they ended up giving me a Egg McMuffin burnt with Canadian bacon when I specifically asked for sausage. The coworker is it amongst themselves and talked about me and my order when I explain to them several times my grandmother sent me to get this. I know these days we are under a lot of stress being at home all of the time, and we are losing perception of what we should be paying attention to: For the ones that still alive, the ones that are recuperating and that WE still are able to drive to McDonald's and enjoy whatever we order; let's be thankful that this restaurant is open and that, even with the mediocre service that sometimes they could be famous for, we, in this tiny town have the luxury of saying that we went to McDonald's! Well there were several different things that was wrong with my order tonight. First my husband ordered a double quarter plain with cheese, he got his sandwich plain but it had no cheese. Next my son ordered a triple cheeseburger, he received a double. Next my other son ordered a med sweet tea with his happy meal, they gave him a kids size cup, the only that comes with the happy meal. You can change your drink in the Happy meal, they just charge you extra. We've done this before so we know you can. Lastly I also ordered myself a large Dr Pepper. The cashier didn't even ring that up so of course I didn't get one. I understand it was late, about 8 pm but this is unacceptable. I will never go here again. I went for breakfast and placed my order for a steak biscuit and bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, one hash brown and a large caramel macchiato. The girl taking the order mumbled something then told me the total. I pulled to window, which I was the only customer in drive through and no customer inside, I asked the girl if she got the steak biscuit. Her reply was " I told you we don't do steak anymore when you were at the speaker!" I replied " If I had understood what you were saying I wouldn't be asking this question!" She then moved my already made coffee from the window and moved out of my sight with it for about ten seconds before offering it to me. No way! She's a plump, long black frizzy haired girl with attitude all over her face and her nasty attitude. I worked for this franchise before and the manager there is lacking. read more

I wish I could give negative stars!! The McDonalds is the worst I've ever been to. Not because of the cleanliness, not because the food tastes bad, but because the staff is the pits. This is the poorly most managed McDonalds I've ever been to ,EVER! They are out of something always!! Cups, apple pies, coffee machine down, and if you ever find the ice cream machine working you better go buy a lotto ticket cause it's your lucky day! I have lived in Cherryville for 5 years. Almost always a bad experience. I mean, it's McDonald's so my expectations aren't really high but they manage to screw up our orders all the time. Over cooking fries, cold food, burned nuggets, wrong orders. Also when someone orders a large fry they want the amount of fries that should come in a large fry. Not half filled. Imagine getting charged for two sauces , which was completely fine but when you tell them they aren't in the bag and they refuse to give you more getting screamed at by employee. This isn't the first time . Their staff is ghetto/rude for no reason. I could understand if I was rude but anyone in customer services knows you are nice no matter what to the customer. This place sucks and always gets the orders wrong and makes you wait forever to fix their mess up. They make it obvious they hate their job, I would rather drive 25mins away then go to this McDonalds. It is by far the worst one I have ever been to and if you actually get hot fries then be thankful because that isn't the ordinary for this place, in fact play the lottery because your odds would be better. I have seriously gotten food that made me gag because the food tasted so old. McDonald's in Cherryville is a clean, fast, fresh, friendly place compared to other fast food places!

Got my order wrong, didn't even get it almost right! The guy taking our order got everything right! But the people in charge of putting food in the bag just threw whatever they wanted in the bag. Our drinks were only halfway filled up. We went back and got our order and they gave us back our original fries which had already gotten cold from how long we had to wait for our correct order. Not to mention that when we got our correct order there was a long black hair in my McChicken. Disgusting and terrible service every time we go!! read more

Stopped in for breakfast and waited for 30 minutes to get my food. I was told to pull to the side and wait while I watched 20 cars come and go. They came to my car three times with the wrong order. Each time they checked the order a different employee would handle each item in the bag sometime re-wrapping the sandwiches as they went. Finally got the manager out there and he did the same thing and handed me my order. I opened the bag to check myself for order accuracy and one cheeseburger was open in the bag with several hairs hanging out of the sandwich. I will never be back. Every order is messed up with the two drive thru cluster and no one knows who gets what. The poor hygiene is the last straw. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to and I'm on the road 24/7.. it's gonna come out burnt to a crisp, under cooked or completely wrong. They have no medium. Absolutely worst service ever! Manager Tonya Joyce is extremely rude and has NO concept of what exactly customer service means. I called the franchise owner's number posted on the window and spoke with a family member who was very kind and apologized profusely. He tried to correct the situation for me but the manager just ran and hid in the office and sent another rude manager to try and give me a replacement sandwich...after I had ALREADY paid for another sandwich! I have had other issues with Tonya...one time she argued with me when I got a THIRD of a slice of cheese on a fish sandwich! The managers at the store with the exception of one are an absolute JOKE! If there was another fast food burger place in town I can guarantee that this store would be shut down! The owners need to seriously consider cleaning house of management and starting fresh. Typical good quality McDonalds food and pricing is fair generally clean and usually fast service but check bag before leaving. This location has been known to foul-up from time to time so check your order. Make sure your sauces are there. Ice machine in front runs out of ice all the time. read more
