Sadly ordering a burger that was supposed to be never frozen, nope this was like chewing on a shoe.

We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and had to wait 20 minutes. This is the worst McDonald's in the County.

The eating area of this place was pretty clean. That is about the best thing I could find with the place. Bathroom: (Mens) The sink didn't look like it had been cleaned in a day or so. Trash was scattered all over the counter as well as soap and lots of water. The urinal actuall had spots of mildew / mold in there. Are they not cleaning with actual cleaning products? Guess not. The toilet looked aweful amd there was no way I would want to use that thing. Ordering: With the addition of the walkup ordering kiosks, it makes ordering fairly easy. The first kiosk I tried to use locked up on me. I had to move to another one and start my order all over again. This time it worked. Time: There were only 3 other people in the eating area besides me and it took 17 minutes to get my Quarter Pounder meal with apple pie. Food: The burger was typical as well as the fries. The apple pie on the other hand was this rock hard thing that according to the time stamp said it was to be eaten by 12:17pm...it was 6:25pm when I ordered it. This apple pie had been sitting in its own filling for way too long as it had become stuck to the cardboard box. I tried to pull out the pie but it ripped the box too. I asked if I could get another pie that wasn't old and got some nasty attitude back from the woman at the counter. They did offer to cook a fresh one for me but it would take 12-15 minutes. I really didn't have time to wait today so I asked for a refund. You would have thought I had asked for all the money in the drawer. After about 5 mins. of the lady wandering around the front area that she finally gave me my refund. What an aweful place. I only gave 1 star due to burger being cooked right and the eating area being clean. Not sure I will ever stop here again. The workers are what makes this place so bad. Take some pride in where you work and do a good job. It makes a world of difference...give it a try. read more

Then some of the fries tasted like they had chemicals in them like they were sprayed with bug spray. It has been years since I last went to this location due to the service. They just finished a renovation so I figured maybe it would be better. Nope. The building may be better but that is all they improved. They are still painfully slow. As an added bonus to being slow you also don't get everything you ordered. This store is so unprofessional and disgusting! My 19 year old daughter was trying to order food when 3 men (employees) kept trying to get her number and telling her how pretty she was. They were very intimidating and got our order all wrong because they were only focused on being in her face. They made her feel very uncomfortable!!! I'm not quite sure why this particular McDonald's gets a bad rap. Most of the complaints I've seen seemed to be about the drive-thru. When I showed up this morning the drive-thru was slammed with about 10 cars. So I parked and went inside. The costumer service in this place is disgusting. I ordered something Very simple no food only drinks. 4 coffee (they ask for how much sugars/cream you want) 2 frappes and 1 soda. They made me park on the side to wait for my order I waited and when I got it I didn't get my soda and the coffees had no cream I went ahead and told the lady she didn't give me the soda she went ahead and told me to my face she did basically saying I was lying. when it was 7 of us in the car we each got a drink. She went ahead disrespectfully told me if I wanted one to just simply buy it that it was 1 and some change. When I had paid for it already. The point is we all work hard for our money and it can be 5 cents. Understand that everyone that comes in to spend their money they are the ones making the paychecks you take home there for take care of them I was not asking for anything free but for what I had paid for and if you cant do that part of your job just STAY HOME and let someone that actually wants to work work. The McDonald's at Charlotte Hall Location sucks. Every time I go there there is ALWAYS something missing. I check my bag before I left and everything looks good. Get home and this is my fish filet sandwhich ‍ I finally called to complain to the manager that that I don't complain but this being the 5th time it's ridiculous. The real sad thing is there was no one in line when I went there so it not like it was super crazy busy. The manager has a Nonchalant attitude telling me I had to have a reciept and bring the food back to get a new sandwhich. What about all the other shit? And I wasn't driving back there right away when I have two little ones and waste gas. I will go later when I have to go back out. This is by far the WORST McDonald's in St. Mary's (I wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's the worst ever). On the rare occasion they manage to get my order even close to correct, there's MOLD ON THE BREAD. How can you possibly not see green spots on a McRib? I'm sure someone saw it and served it anyway. Sat in the drive-thru for 10 minutes finally got to order the total was $37 & some change for 3 meals & a frappe but I told the lady at the window we had a coupon for the frappe to be free showed her at the window somehow it came out to $41 & some change after adding the free coupon I tried explaining to the lady but she was so rude & kept telling me I was wrong. Ordered online because wendy's was closed and sure came out to like $33 atp I had to rush back home because my newborn woke up screaming with my husband because instead of a quick 15 minute trip to get fast food it turned into over 35 minutes when we live right down the street. We received the wrong order and when we went up there to try to get it corrected the black woman with the pimples on her face in the short hair working on dayshift immediately caught an attitude. It wasn't until she realized that my cousin was recording that she began to act polite, other than that she was rude and extremely disrespectful towards my grandmother. Hey it's Mc Donald's and really it is what it is! I don't go to them any of them but my dad loves Mickey Ds Double meat Cheeseburgers! So when my dad asks me to take him there I have no problem cause my dads gonna be 96 in April so if he wants a double meat cheeseburger and a caramel Sundae a cookie and his senior size drink then that's what he gets! He knows I don't do Mc Donald's but knows I will take him at least once a month for his fix!! Lol. And in the last 2 years this is the Mc Donald's I have taken him too cause in May it will be 2 years my dads been in Charlotte Hall Veterans Home and this Mc Donald's is right down the road! And I have never did review on them and I thought I would to say the place is always very clean and help always very nice and they always bring food out to our table Hot and ready to eat! I always ask for fresh lemon for my iced tea and they give me 4/5 pieces and sometimes I will get order French Fries NO SALT and they come piping HOT I usually get Fish sand no tartar and I just throw away roll I don't want to freak them out ordering a Fish Sandwich with no bread! Lol but I do ask for plastic fork!! And then I share those No SALT Fries with dad and I am good cause then after we done I get us our Ice cream! I get the plain with peanuts! Hey I can make do it's for the Love of my Dad what can I say !! Sometimes I get the grilled chicken sand and throw roll out but never will I be eating any of those burgers!! If no stars were a possibility, that is what I give. I ordered through the McD's app several times, never had a problem.... well, they often got the orders wrong, but nothing like charging me and not giving me the order. Then one weekend I order on the app and the store employee doesn't see my paid order. After about 20 minutes someone else came over and they found it. She was insistent that nothing was there, rather than trying some other way to find it. The next week I go back and again the same employee can't find it. When my husband asked what we do, she said she didn't know and walked away. He said, what about my food, can I just pay again and get it? I'll fight with the bank later. This moron told him no she couldn't do that! WHAT!?! I can't order food at a fast FOOD restaurant? She could not have been less helpful or more rude. We had waiting in the car side pickup for more about 15 before we had this exchange. We wasted 45 minutes of my life and $28 of my money. We will never return, and we haven't in months... which was how long it took me to calm down and write something sans cuss words! Stay away from this place, the service here made my daughter FINALLY give up asking for McDonalds... so at least one good thing came of it! read more

I have Celiac Disease which is covered by th Americans with Disabilities Act. For years this Mcdonalds has given me and extra hash brown instead of a biscuit whick I can not eat. I have spoke to the Franchisee of this McDonalds. They have told me in the past have them call corporate if an issue. Today a man claiming to be the manager that would only give me the name of JR. I go to this McDonald's all the time but tonight was horrible. I was given 4 hot fudge sundaes without a a drink carrier melted with chocalate all over the sides. Asked for a drink carrier but was told they are all out which I understand but to give me for chocolate sundaes with chocolate down the sides of all 4 is ridiculous. Everything spilled in my vehicle and all over my shirt. You had one guy on the front register and he was trying to run the front counter and the window and was very unsuccessful. The guy taking the money at the first window should of been a better teammate and walked up to the front to run the window. Just horrible sad service tonight. Not sure if this is a privately owned, or corporate, McDonalds, but I would love to talk with the owner / corporate office about my visit to their establishment today. By the way, I have gone to this McDonalds for the past 25 years...service has never been great, but today, I had to deal with an insane incident with totally rude, inept and insane people! After sitting in the drivethru for more than 5 minutes, then paying for a coffee and bfast sandwich, I was told to pull ahead into a parking space and wait because they did not have the food/coffee ready. No problem. After 10 minutes a young woman delivered me my sandwich but did not bring my coffee. I told her that I also ordered a coffee. She went back inside and after another 10 minutes she came out, with coffee in hand, but she strolled out to the car next to me, and started talking with the car's occupants.... finally, she returned to my car and handed me the coffee, no stirrer (go figure)... I told her that waiting 20 minutes to get a coffee was unacceptable....her response, "Not my fault. Not my problem". What a rude comment! I asked this rude young woman her name and she walked back to the other vehicle to talk with the occupants, ignoring my request. So, I got out of my car and snapped a photo as my intent was to share her photo with the owner / corporate office as a means of identifying this rude young woman. What she said to me is unacceptable. Then, out of the car came some big woman, presumably the McDonald's emloyee's sister or friend, swinging, telling me to step out my car to fight... unbelievable - total chaos... Then, so called, Management of this establishment, came outside. I told "management" I waited 25 minutes for a GD coffee and then their employee was beyond rude to me telling me it is "Not my fault. Not my problem". These ignoramuses then proceeded to tell me that the employee is a minor and that it is illegal that I took a photo of her ... They told me that I should have gone inside to find out who she is. What??? Are you kidding me??? I just went through the drive through to get a coffee, wasted 25 minutes, was treated like Sh!t by some employee, and they think that I should be going inside to speak with their stupid selves and waste more of my time? I don't think so. So I took a photo of them, too... If anyone knows who the owner of this McDonalds is, please send me a pm...or, if you are the owner, pm me! Eventually, I will find out who it is. The owners / corporate office really need to know the behaviors of their employees... they need to know what morons they have running this place, too, as Managers. What a joke. Wish I could leave zero stars. Very rarely telling a server the order is to go results in being given a tray. 99% of the time, my family's order is handed to me in bags. On 9/21/2016, at 8 pm, I was surprised. It only took a full minute to get a cashier to (grudgingly) ask my wife what she wanted. With less than 8 customers inside, all were treated to hearing loud conversations about scheduling conflicts. That was why it took me 7 long minutes to get my order of fries. After waiting that long, I was told that the desert pie I ordered and paid for was out of stock. I couldn't have been told this before paying? One day I walked in and watched a kid put four shots of mac sauce on a quarter pounder, I've sat in drive thru for almost 20 minutes and gotten two cheeseburgers covered in mac sauce and crushed into a pancake.
