I'm learning how to use the app in-store. The scanner at the kiosk wasn't working. I asked an employee to help, and he kindly got it to work in order to use the app code. The order went through. There was no receipt paper. When the order was ready the lady giving out the bags asked me for my number and I told her there was no receipt. Out at the car to eat my burger there were no napkins in the bag. That was my experience. The double lane drive-thru was very busy at 3 p.m.

I stopped in during Apple Butter Fest, and simply walked over to the cafe. AMBIANCE: It's the type of cafe where time stands still. Many friends and families were relaxing on the patio during the last warm days of autumn. At unhurried pace there were even mother and daughter playing cards. Slow pace atmosphere carried inside. Each home-like room of the cafe was occupied by families having a nice conversation and coffee. There are plenty of diffident nooks for groups and solo coffee connoisseurs. Seating is available in the form of couches, wooden tables and chairs. The way that the cafe is separated into rooms allows for extra roomy atmosphere and an element of privacy. FOOD/DRINKS: The menu includes food options like soups, wraps, deli sandwiches, and breakfast items. Baked goods can be found in the case like tasty looking muffins. As far as fiends, there's wine, coffee, tea, and more. Coffee can be customized with various pumps of sweeteners. Tea is available loose leaf and you can custom scoop your tea bag with a desired flavor. I really wanted to order Cayenne Kick Mocha. But my middle aged body would have acid reflux. Instead I went for another option - hot apple cider (medium cup, $4) to continue my apple theme. The cider was very tasty and scorching hot. SERVICE: The best way to describe service is very transaction and anxious. The line was pretty long which may explain it. This part of the experience felt the most fast paced. I didn't enjoy the service at all. I might drop in again to try Cayenne Kick Mocha next time. I loved the atmosphere but not so much the service. Nonetheless, I want to give them a try on a slower day.

The sofa and overstuffed chairs are the perfect place to visit with friends over coffee, tea, beer, wine or Velvet ice cream. Hubs said his milkshake was the best he had in a long time. My glass of wine was from Ohio's Debonné. The menu includes breakfast, soups, salads and sandwiches/wraps. A family was having dinner when we walked in on a rainy evening. Check out the pastry counter. This place is so warm and cute! We met friends for Saturday night music of a two piece band, and to visit. Very nice atmosphere to meet up and relax. Glad to know this cozy coffee shop with band music is not far from home.

Julie, the owner, along with the wonderful baristas--Lexi, Sammy, Natalie, and Amy--create an atmosphere that truly feels like community. If you stop in, you have to try the Fluffer Nutter crepe. It's my personal favorite, and it never disappoints. Pair it with a good cup of coffee and you're set. The shop itself has such a comfortable vibe. Soft music plays quietly in the background while the front area is filled with tables and chairs perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. In the back, there's even more seating--including a cozy couch and two chairs that I honestly wish I owned. What keeps me coming back, though, is the loyalty and care these ladies show to their customers and community. You can feel it the moment you walk in. If you enjoy great coffee, delicious crepes, and a welcoming place to sit and stay awhile, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

I knew that was a lot of people to come in all at once and I did not want to overwhelm her or the ones helping her make crepes that day. She was very accommodating and said that she would make sure that there were 2 crêpe makers there to be able to handle the group. We explained that we were doing a Flash Mob Dance at the Lighthouse down the street and could not get to her restaurant until a little after 1 o'clock. ( Yes I wrote a review for the Fairport Harbor Lighthouse and Museum that talks about what happened !). Since she usually closes at 2 o'clock on Saturdays, she said she would close to the public at 2pm..., but leave the restaurant open for one more hour so that we could all be there together and visit with each other! Now that is good Customer Service! The two girls that were making the crêpes did a great job! Everyone loved the crêpes and the cozy cute vibe. Many that were in our group had never been to this restaurant before - so we were happy to introduce them to this super cute restaurant in Fairport Harbor! Thank you, Julbeans's Coffee and Crêpes for helping make this anniversary celebration of success!

I love walking up Lock 29 to grab a drink to take along with me on my walks! A coffee shop that I can easily visit between hikes in a national park? Heck yes!…read more I stopped by the Peninsula Coffee House and Market during a weekend trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park this year. I was lucky and snagged a parking space in front of the business; their parking is VERY limited and I'm surprised I didn't have to use a lot that was across a bridge. (Note that the bridge is right by the coffee shop, so it wouldn't have been a long trek at all.) I ordered a Butterscotch Latte and a Sausage, Biscuit & Egg breakfast sandwich; snagged a seat near the front of the store; and settled in for a relaxing break between my hikes. The coffee was excellent and the sandwich really hit the spot! While seating in the lower level is limited, I've learned reading other reviews that there is an outdoor patio and an upper level too. Their website mentions that they run a sundry market here too; however I didn't spend much time shopping in the interest of not stretching my wallet too far during my travels. I also didn't check out the wine cellar in the lower level. While this shop is little, it clearly has a lot to offer, and I am so glad I found it during my visit to Cuyahoga. I'd absolutely stop by again during future visits to the area...and I'd love to time my next visit so I can check out that wine cellar!

There were some other people playing a card game at the other end of the table. There's also other tables and couches around. I also liked the separate kind of game room in the front, seemed like a great place to host a small book club or meet with friends. As I was scanning the menu to make my drink selection, I felt the eyes of both baristas staring at me the whole time. I kind of felt out of place or like an outsider for some reason. Maybe it's just me, but it made it uncomfortable. The coffee selections were pretty basic and I don't remember any food options but I wasn't looking either. It does seem like a comfortable place to chill with a drink or get work done, especially with all the couches, but it was a little too dark and somewhat odd to me.
