I used to work at McDonald's . It was a great place to work nice friends to work with. Everybody struggled to keep up and keep everyone happy, including customers. It was really hard to do with a supervisor Christie Hawkins. She is always downgrading and talking to her employees very rudely. She does not have the temperament for the job and that's why I quit. read more

It's absolutely ridiculous that my son was with his scholar bowl team, when they stopped there to eat. His team got their food, another school came in and they all got their food, my son still waiting. They handed his food out to the wrong person. That person LEFT THE STORE WITH HIS ORDER, BROUGHT IY BACK IN AND THE WORKER HANDED IT TO MY SON TO EAT!!! That is not allowed and never ok!!! That person could of done anything to that food and that sorry ass manager gave it to my son. You can bet I won't allow this to be dismissed. 10/10/25 ordered food and 2 LG sweet teas via door dash got all but 1 LG sweet tea was missing. Manager said she put my name in the book for this order. 10/13/25 ordered food and 2 LG sweet teas via door dash and 1 double cheese was missing once again called the store and this lady informed me I would need to get ahold of door dash for a refund. Food is cold every time we go and missing food the drinks our out so our drinks taste like syrup

Ordered only a large vanilla iced coffee. Was supposed to have extra creamer extra sugar and extra equal sweetener all in it with whipped cream on top. Had to wait over 25 minutes for the single coffee. On top of that it had absolutely no sweetener and no sugar added. And it's not so long they had to remake it and then when they remade it they still made it wrong. Absolutely ridiculous. Will give the four young man running the orders some credit though he attempted to keep me informed as best as he could and then ended up going and remaking the order on his own not going to blame him for things done wrong it wasn't his job to do. read more

Absolutely horrible. Nothing is ever right when we go there. I recently just pulled into the first lane to order a drink and I was told that the cashier would "be with me in a moment" so I sat and waited. Eventually a second car pulled up in the second order and immediately had their order taken. I was again told to wait and they'd be right with me. A few minutes later, a second car pulled up in lane and immediately had their order taken and pulled around. I was still waiting, no one ever took my order so I drove off. I figure the day you go into a McDonalds and the cashier scowls at you because her manager caused her to turn around and help customers, is the last day you should go there. The management there is clueless. As a customer service trainer, I found it laughable that while I was telling the manager that the experience wasn't happy, that she was looking at the same, scowling cashier. Although it would not have been appropriate to address the employee's attitude on the line, it would have been appropriate to remove the employee and have someone else take orders till the attitude was resolved. The manager on duty had no clue about how to handle the situation other than offer a discount which I declined. read more

There frappe machine is ALWAYS DOWN nobody cleans it at night . So u have to drive on the other side of town for one friendlier people too.

If I could give zero stars I would because it not one point in my visit did anything go right. Order a large coffee and get a medium and a large cup ordered two sandwiches and get rockhard bread and that took 18 minutes with only one person in front of me and that is not a joke or not over statement it literally took 18 minutes from when I ordered to get my food which is probably why the bread was hard when I got it and six people were in there in only one person was actually working or at least look like they were working. My advice is to stay away or drive across town and try the other McDonald's which I have not done yet but will be my next excursion read more

My mother always said "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all!" Well mom, I have to defy you so I can warn people about the potential health risk of eating at this nasty restaurant. There wasn't one spot in the whole visible place that wasn't filthy, riddled with debris or stinky. I passed through to use the restroom and grab a bite but after looking around decided the risk too high. I turned and promptly left. I would be embarrassed to have to claim myself the manager and I hope someone in the food chain (pun intended) gets whiff (another pun intended) of this. read more

Tired of getting oatmeal thats like wallpaper paste and so cold wont melt the butter they just dont care

This is probably on the lower side of the usual McDonald's that you've been to. The building is updated and the ordering screens are nice but the line was ridiculously long and wasn't even moving and it wasn't even a rush hour time. My food was wrong despite it being correct on my receipt and the ordering screen and the fries we're cold. I'm glad I go to McDonald's for drinks, because that's the only thing that I got out of this meal. read more

This is without a doubt the worst McDonald's I've ever seen! The last three times I've been there it was the same manager. The first time I went inside because the line was so long. It still took fifteen minutes to be waited on with one person in front of me. The manager was handing out food (for free) to several children who were running in and out of the parking lot. I got my order and left. When I got home with my special order, it was wrong! 2nd time around there were flies going in and out the window of the drive-thru which took forever and several people standing around. Manager was doing nothing. Customers were complaining at the counter as he stood there smiling smugly. My drinks were handed out and the top came off as it was handed to me. The girl didn't offer to do anything. She didn't even say "sorry". I asked her to wipe clean off the cup, and she acted like I asked for her phone which was in her back pocket. 3rd and last visit was August 30, 2016. It was getting last so I decided to grab dinner. I got in line behind 3 other cars. Before it was over I was in line 30 minutes. I had already placed my order or I would have driven off. I probably should have anyway. Both cars in front of me were complaining and sending bags back. When I got to the window to pick up my food, I could see two girls behind the counter on their cell phones. Again, the same manager just standing and there were large boxes sitting behind the counter in the way. Customers were at the counter, but no one was waiting on them. An older gentleman was addressing the manager, and he was shrugging his shoulder and turning his back. It was total chaos. The girl who waited on me was very apologetic. I just hope the coporate office looks this and pays attention to what is going on in Centralia, IL. read more

This is one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It's in a very small town, so perhaps they stay in business because it's a captive population with limited food choices. It used to be a very good McDonald's, but clearly they've had a change in ownership or management and no longer care about quality food or service. They used to have a playland, which was nice when we traveled with young ones, but they've since closed it for storage. In our last dozen visits, we've had only 2 correctly prepared orders. When we've eaten in, we've repeatedly found the tables all dirty (and the staff acts inconvenienced if you ask for a rag to clean your own table), the floors cluttered with litter, and the bathrooms badly attended and in need of service. In other situations I'd assume this meant the food was excellent and the staff has been too busy to clean--but we've watched staff stand around not working with no lobby que while we struggled to find a place to sit, and the food we've received has never been excellent by any standards. Don't order a Big Mac unless you want to assemble your own from the pile of ingredients carelessy tossed in a box. Special orders are nearly impossible and result in very extended wait times with low accuracy for correctness. We've quit visiting the location unless we're in a time crunch (there are no restaurants on that side of town other than McDonald's), and now drive extra to visit the little coffee shop in town, or Hardee's/Wendy's, where the staff is polite and food is better quality. On one of our visits, the red-headed shift manager was yelling from the register/counter area at an employee in the back who was cursing, saying he's going to owe her $10 every time he says another curse word, and the very full lobby was all appalled. The other employees were chiming in about how the bad-mouthed one didn't care what the shift manager said, and the customers were ALL muttering how she needed to address the issue quietly off the floor instead of making us all witness the bad management. One poor mother was holding her hands over her child's ears, and clearly would have left if she hadn't paid for her food already. On another occasion, we ordered 2 hot cakes at about 2 pm. When we entered the lot, the drive thru ran around the entire building, and made parking difficult, so we decided to go in where the que was short. After we ordered our pancakes, we watched them fill 4 other orders of pancakes for the drive thru from people that ordered AFTER us, while they made us wait over 25 minutes to get our food. When we finally got our food, the drive through line was completely empty--so clearly instead of honoring the order in which orders were taken, they were pushing for time quotas on drive thru. After all of that, we had to have one of our orders fixed, because we only received 2 pancakes instead of 3. On another occasion, after we ordered and were waiting for our food, we saw the shift manager tell an employee that her mascara was messed up. They then walked to the fry bin, and the employee leaned over the fries to fix her makeup in the mirror behind the fry tray. Neither my partner nor I ate our fries that day. I can't imagine them fixing makeup over the fries in an empty lobby, but when they have enough gall to do it while several customers are watching and waiting for their food, it makes you wonder what they do to your food where you can't see it. Given that 3 of our last 12 visits had serious issues, and most of our other visits required us to enter the restaurant for corrections of wrong orders/improperly prepared food, I can't really in good conscience recommend this location to anyone. read more

I agree with The other reviews. This McDonald's is not only filthy but its being ran by a bunch of kids that have no clue what they are doing. Management sucks and they don't care that the store is being ran down hill. It is a privately owned store but the owner won't even return phone calls or the managers aren't telling her she has had phone calls. Either way I can think of much better ways to spend my money at much much better resteraunts. Oh and their foods sucks real bad and is never fresh. But omg don't ask for it to be fixed or someone might spit in your food. Their frappe machine is always breaking down due to the roaches in it. Guys I'm not joking my daughter works there. Public health has threatened to shut them down more than once. They have roaches in the thousands. no joke just go look and pay close attention. Next time you order a frappe it might not be a chocolate chip that your crunching on. Plz beware. read more

Two different visits to this establishment the first I went inside because the drive thru was full, I walk in and nearly fall from spilled "liquid" right inside the door, no sign or anything. I continue to stand there while three employees stand around talking to each other finally a manager takes my order I get a soda walk to the soda fountain and it is a disaster zone, spilled soda everywhere and flies flying around I was disgusted by the appearance. The second time weeks later I go to the drive thru and no one is there taking orders the car in front of me honked multiple times and then drove forward honked at the windows and no one ever showed up drove off immediately frustrated and decided I will never visit this place again. read more
