She said the owner ran a massage business in the back and used the honor system to sell the teas. I'm impressed that the owner has such faith in humanity but having no one there to wait on you makes for a very awkward experience. The tea was ok. I liked the book that described each tea. The decor seemed warm and inviting. I HATED that I was expected to sign a book and give out my phone number.

We told her we hadn't ever been there so she walked us through the menu on the wall, gave us the lunch options and I asked if they were still serving breakfast and she said they had a few eggs left so she could make that for us too even though it was almost 11 am. She was patient as we ordered and helped us with some decisions regarding our order. After we ordered and were told they would find us and bring us our food. We walked around and looked at all the cool sitting nooks within the space. They were each unique and presented a different vibe depending on what feel you were looking for. Some were cozy for a small group while others would accommodate a larger group. Neat furnishing and lots to look at. We ordered on latte special called the Gypsy Queen, an iced chai latte and a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was all very delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are in the area and looking for a fun stop.

Today instead of ordering the daily lunch special like we normally do my wife got the soup and salad (I think soups are a new item here) and I ordered chicken Parmesan. The side salads you get are pretty large. We don't like tomatoes peppers and olives so ours are pretty plain. She had Caesar and I had regular. Both came with lots of cheese and mine had bacon. They do give you a pretty small container of dressing, but I guess that is kind of a good thing. Soup choices were tomato or potato and she chose potato. She thought it was a bit underdone. My chicken parm came with a half sized serving of pasta, which was pretty large. I was so full from just eating the salad and chicken parm I took the pasta home. I've had the baked meatballs too and both dishes are pretty similar. Lots of cheese. The meatballs could use more sauce, but are limited by the baking dish. I like them both well enough to have had them multiple times.
