Stopped at this McDonald's traveling back home and as I was drinking my I ed coffee, there is a fly. I'm disgusted at the fact that I drank half of this and the possibility of perhaps drinking flies that I didn't see. HORRIBLE, UNSANITARY AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Walked over for a quick dessert from our nearby hotel; our order came out quickly, the place was clean, and the staff were very friendly.

I'm extremely disgusted and disappointed. I ordered a frozen Hawaiian drink from McDonald's and had already drunk most of it when I felt something in my mouth--turns out it was a dead fly that came out of my drink. I was horrified. I immediately tried to call the store to report the issue, but no one answered the phone. This is completely unacceptable. I have pictures and a video as proof and will be contacting corporate and DHEC to report this serious health violation. Do better. read more

Night shift is an absolute train wreck, the manager is no where to be found while the workers give constant attitude and contagious body language that makes them so unapproachable. read more

Their sanitation isn't great. I noticed several flies around the restaurant. One of the workers intentionally knocked an empty cup off a table onto the floor without picking it up later on; which is odd. The food overall was good and didn't look like a train wreak. read more

Terrible I just left with lunch for 3 and none of the French fries are done raw potato is what we got that's a shame. I suggest train your staff. read more

Generally, I avoid fast food restaurants. However, the McDonald's at exit 98 off I-20 in South Carolina just happens to be located at the midway point between Atlanta and Holden Beach, NC. Since I drive between these two cities often, I've had a lot of opportunities to check out the dining options all along the I-20 East-West corridor. McDonald's was good enough for Julia Child, so why not for me? As long as you don't eat there every day, or even every week, an occasional meal is fine. Salads? Forget about it. I alternate between the Southern Style chicken sandwich and the Quarter Pounder with cheese, no onions. And I don't super-size. Usually, I fill up my tank at the BP across the street, and then hit the drive-thru for a road snack. (The BP has cleaner restrooms than the Exxon that adjoins McDonald's. It's a chick thing.) Sometimes, though, I've taken the time to venture inside and eat my meal at the restaurant. It's a welcome break in my six hour drive, and it's nice to have a fifteen minute reprieve from the road. You'll wait longer when ordering inside, especially during the lunch rush, but the staff is friendly, and they aim to please. read more

Very Pleasant Service Who reviews a McDonalds? Well, when a restaurant does something above or below what a guest expects I think it warrants a write up. This McDonalds was a nice place to visit. The other day I just wanted something quick & filling...and for some reason that jingle "two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, onions, pickles on a sesame seed bun" was in my head. (I will not bore you with why) ANYWAY, into McDonalds I went. Clean? Yes, but you expect that. Quick? Yes, but you expect that. The difference was the staff simply seemed genuinely happy & friendly. My Big Mac was just want I wanted. All in all it was a fun stop at the end of a busy day. Oh, the coffee was great too. read more

They need to do a better job of training their drive thru employees. I waited 15 min in the drive thru for an iced coffee so I expect at least basic courtesy. I placed my order and asked for light ice. The person who took my order was very pleasant and nice. However, the girl who hands out orders is extremely rude and has a horrible attitude. When I got to the window to retrieve my order, I saw that the coffee was rather dark. I asked for more cream. She became argumentative and said "it says light cream". I explained to her that I asked for light ice, not light cream. She rudely said again "it says light cream." I then asked her to please add more cream, as I only wanted what I paid for. She snatched the drink out of my hand as if I was inconveniencing her for asking for my order to be the way I ordered it and mumbled something under her breath. I still said thank you when I got my order back and she slammed the window shut on my face. This person has absolutely no business being in customer service and really needs to be let go because she is going to cost that location a lot of customers with her terrible demeanor. Even if I had said light cream, which I did not, her response should have been "I'm sorry for the confusion. Let me make that right for you" instead of acting like it was such a huge deal to put more cream in a coffee. Absolutely awful! I will not be back and I don't recommend you go there either read more

The staff looked like they were working really hard, great work ethic. Lines were unorganized, orders were not correct, had to go back up three times to get what I ordered and then waited 20 mins for. Then the classic chicken sandwich tasted like they used a prized Carolina gamecock, tough and hard to chew through. Very dissatisfied with the overall product, but was impressed with the staff and crew, definitely tried to make things right read more

24/7 signs on the highway and ON THE FRONT DOOR are misleading.... or employees are extremely lazy. Was told "we are closed from 3-5am"... then why advertise you are open all the time?? Waste of time getting off the highway read more
