Along with service with a great smile he shared encouragement and positive wishes for my day with my son. My son is 11 and could not stop commenting on how he had just met the nicest fast food employee ever. I was driving through Burnet and stopped to get a snack for my grandkids. As I waited at the second window for our items, I heard someone verbally bashing my vehicle. I looked at my rearview mirror and saw the man (Mikey?) who took my payment hanging out the first window, pointing at my vehicle, and loudly talking badly with the customer behind me about my vehicle. I came here and paid for a service but not someone's loud, obnoxious opinion. I recommend he keep his opinions to himself in the future. I went through the Drive Thru the other day for just a regular cup of coffee, nothing special but I do love me a small cup of Micky D Coffee and this place didn't upset at all! We always order two fish sandwiches and request them to be cooked to order fresh as well as our French Fries. After a fifteen minute wait I took my order receipt up to the counter to check on my order I watched them place My sandwiches on a tray that was sitting there over 5 minutes he stated he was waiting on my fries. HE RUDLEY informed me that I was not the only customer And I wanted fresh fries was the issue. Went through the drive through for something I hadn't had in a long time: a vanilla shake! Someone I was playing tourist with wanted something to eat, so here I found myself. I didn't know what to do so I went to the way-back machine, reached deep into my memory and ordered a good old vanilla shake. I hadn't had one since I used to play tourist while my dad drove. It tasted good and just what I expected. What impressed me was that the drive through was not only pretty quic, but all the people were amazingly nice, personable and engaged in their job. A friend and I mobile ordered about 3 minutes before we arrived yet ended up waiting 25 minutes for our food after being told to move up to the second pickup window. Despite saying our names at the box, they said they couldn't find who it was for. When we finally received the order, the Coke and Chicken Nuggets were left out and the the sauces were incorrect. Only good thing was that the modifications on a burger were correct. I went in with the grandkids for a quick dinner. I had 2 coupons to use. I understand technically it's one coupon per visit but I had cash and wanted to give one coupon with cash to my grandson and use the other coupon myself. I can't believe the lady behind the counter actually gave me grief about it saying that would be cheating the system! An elderly couple came in after me with two coupons and guess what? Still the worst McDonald's franchise in America. Owners must not care, they've been getting bad reviews for a long time. Today is 3/1/23 at 620pm. The entire staff at this location tonight should be fired for not caring about doing their job even remotely correct. The manager is a low IQ dim bulb who would rather give a refund than make an order right and said to me that he "didn't care" that my order was completely wrong and the fries were cold, and he "didn't care" that I was not coming back and that he "didn't care" that I had previously left a 1 star review for poor service. Tonight I was greeted by literal non-caring zombies, one who took my $$$ without a smile or a thank you, and the dim bulb zombie at the window who handed me 10 piece McNuggets instead of the Hometyle burger meal I ordered and paid for. After leaving, only to find the fries cold and orde wrong, I returned, went inside and found the "manager" (lol) bobbing his head to music, not helping ensure that the orders were correctly given to customers that none of them give a rats tail about. Low energy, non-caring people work here. I'm sure there's a good one in the bunch and if there is, make them manager, because what you have in place doesn't care about the customer, food prep, correct orders or good customer relations. I WENT TO WHATABURGER AND GOT A DELICIOUS WHATABURGER WITH CHEESE AND HOT FRIES WITH EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I highly recommend everyone else do the same. Pretty consistent for McDonald's food. Only thing I'd say is one of the cashiers inside (Dan, I think?) just comes off as impatient and about to snap. Even interacting with other customers. He seems so unhappy with his job. I get nervous at the counter and I feel rushed to order and pay otherwise I get sighed at and receive short, irritable responses.
