I would consider myself a pretty understanding person when it comes to the slow pace of service in any restaurant. However, this McDonald's had a line inside at the register and no one came to take orders, it took about 15 minutes for someone to notice the line! The inside is pretty clean, and the food tastes amazing. But it's extremely sad to see how worked these employees are every day, they have no help to cover all areas of the kitchen. If you want breakfast, maybe consider going somewhere else for their sake, and your own! read more

I believe this is the slowest and rudest McDonald's. Even if there is only 1 car ahead of you your wait time will be close to 10 minutes. The way they operate the 2 sides of the ordering signs is laughable. I've sat on 1 side waiting to order as the other side has 2-3 cars order before they even realize I'm there. Stopped into the drive thru tonight and ordered food only to drive around to the window and find an effing CHILD working the window!!! Not a young looking teen or a little person but an actual EFFING CHILD!!!! This can't be legal LMAO! What a trip! I went to this Mc Donald's yesterday on my way home and I have to tell you the girl at the second window that handed me my order was so sweet she double checked my order to see if it was right than smiled and told me to have a great day. I haven't received customer service like that in a long time. It's usually here and they slam the window and turn their back to you. I wish I had the girls name but good job on the customer service. Well... the actual food was fine, but we waited for 40 minutes and, after that, the order was incorrect.

We went in on a Sunday and it was completely dirty, every table was not clean, garage cans were completely full, employees where yelling and complaining. They locked the doors behind us at 4:15 PM and there were many people trying to get in. We had to go eat in our car since the place was very dirty. read more

Food was undercooked. Dining Room was FILTHY. Employees were rude and disrespectful, yelling foul language throughout kitchen. Food on menu was not available in proportion's advertised. Definitely needs better management! read more

McDonald's food all over the world tastes the same. The problems are with the employees or the thing employees are allowed to do. I made 2 done in visits, once in August again today, January 4th, in August there was a woman working the counter and had her young son maybe 6yr old with her at work. Odd but maybe she had no choice. Again I visit in January, different girl on the counter but also her kid, who she was telling to sit in the booth while customers were ordering. I was there 30 minutes the entire time a McDonald's employee was on break speaking on her phone on speaker for the entire restaurant to hear, it was annoying and totally ignorant. She also walked behind the counter on break with her phone on speaker and filled up her own pop. That's when I realized that she was an employee. Get it together McDonald's, this isn't a day care, I paid $30 for me and two kids to eat and had to listen to a loud conversation the entire time and watch a kid jump around the dining room while his mother worked. This location unfortunately doesn't seem to care about the quality of food they serve I recently visited this location at around 1:30 pm after lunch rush. The burgers I ordered and received were horrible one of the cheeseburgers I ordered had zero condiments on it the other appeared it was sat on what a total disappointment. You would think when there are so many struggling restaurants there would be some kind of quality control to ensure the customers receive food that is at least edible. Quick service. I stop in a couple times a week for coffee and breakfast. Just tried the Egg White Delight. It's the Egg McMuffin but with egg whites and Swiss cheese so a little healthier. Was so fresh and didn't taste like fast food. Also a nice young guy as cashier who is there a lot, and great lady at the other window who've I've been seeing there for a very long time. The long term employees area very good. My order's been accurate every time, just please don't microwave the food to reheat it ruins the bread.Just happens occasionally. read more

Big Mac was made sloppy , half of it is plan while dressing are all smugged to the other side , I went through the drive through , and got French fries , while I was leaving the pay window to go to the next window to pick up my food a girl was waving my bag out of the window , and the fries are very stale and not fresh at all , I don't recommend going to this McDonald's read more

First of all, I think I should mention that I'm not a huge fan of the McDonald's franchise...that being said I've somehow been to MANY of them. They are just so darn convenient (especially for coffee in the morning). The things that are GREAT about this McDonald's, and sets them apart from others (hence the 5 star review) is that 1. they are lightening fast. That drive thru moves literally like lightening, it's kind of incredible really. The restaurant is always clean, smells clean and has a bright interior. 3. The playplace is really large and has a lot for kids of all ages (OK, 2-13) and it is super clean. The Playplace has it's own manager and she is always cheerful and happy, they have lots of activities for kids throughout the year and it's a great option to take the kids to out here in the winter when it's freezing outside. read more

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered food for my family as we were short on time for dinner after events with our kids. Half way through my sandwich I bit a cold spot which led me to look at the meat. Hubby picked up bacon egg and cheese biscuit for me at drive through. Then he picked me up. I could smell the cinders as i got in the car. I am a frequent McDonald's customer and I am very disappointed with some recent developments with this store and others in Kankakee Country. I had a problem with my order at the drive thru. They got the order wrong. I only realized their error once I got home and didn't complain until the next day. When I went to the restaurant and went in person I was told I can only get my order fixed if I call in the same day. So, since I was notifying them of their incorrect order I was basically SOL. With this information I called McDonald's Corporate HQ in Oak Brook, IL and explained to them about the problem. The woman was very nice but explained that the private ownership of this restaurant are allowed to make their own policies like the one I was calling and complaining about. She sent me a coupon for a free sandwich and that was the end of my conversation with McD HQ. The problem is this; The Linman Family own all of the McDonald's in the Kankakee area. They own all McDonalds from Peotone to Beecher to Kankakee to Manteno. There is nothing you can do about it besides keeping your money in your pocket and taking your business elsewhere. But make sure you take your business to a different fast food chain due to fact all the McDonald's in this area are owned by the same people, The Linman Family. Go to the Taco Bell next door, the Burger Kind down the road or White Castle but please do not reward the Linman Family's bad behavior. The Linman Family have a very BAD reputation is this area and now I understand why. read more

OH HELL NO!!!! I honestly can say that whoever thinks this restaurant is "CLEAN" and that the play place is clean.....REALLY??!! Can you actually see and smell? I was seeing my children every Saturday @ this Mc D's and I do have a 4yr old. The bathrooms were ALWAYS disgusting. The tables in the dining room were dirty. The drink area and condiment area were all sticky and the ketchup was empty on a few occasions. Drinks/pop had been spilled all over that area and I guess the adult customers that go to this establishment DON'T know how to wipe up their spills (I was like....really??!! Are we adults here?) lol! The play place stunk EVERY time we went there. It smells like dirty, stinky feet mixed with urine and poop! I don't believe that McDonalds ever cleans the play equipment whether or not they say they do. I've been there too many times and its ALWAYS the same! NO clean smells, NO clean tables, NO clean bathroom in the play place.....for a fact!! My family and I went to this McDonalds EVERY Saturday for at least 2 months. They also consistently messed up our orders time after time. One day my husband and I had placed an order to go. When we got home the fries were NOT fresh and the sandwiches were NOT as they were supposed to be. Some kind of hot sauce was put on the sandwiches. It was NOT the right sauce. I don't usually wait till I get home to check my order but since it was freezing out and we were walking...I waited to check the order till we got home. After I took the first bite of the sandwich. I was very upset and angry because we have been going to this McD's for many, many years and we always have an issue with the order! So, YES that upsets me just a little. The manager there was so rude to my husband telling my husband that the sauce on the sandwich WAS right....just belittling him in front of other customers.
