Looking for ice cream in Belchertown is difficult! So hoping that the McDonald's ice cream machine was working, we made our way to that restaurant. Three people were already ahead of us, but they were long-waiting for their order. More people came in after us, some door-dash types and some ready to order at the counter. Finally! A staff person finally acknowledged us after several minutes and took our order. But after about 5+ minutes, I was informed the caramel machine was broken. So I opted for the hot fudge. By the time I actually received the sundae it was after another 5+ minutes that flew by slowly. I took it over to the table and found the ice cream already half melted, creating a mess in trying to eat it. I finally succeeded but needed to wash my hands. Going to the bathroom I found a sign on the door stating one has to ask for a key at the service desk to get in! Ugh, I hated the idea that I had to get back in that line?, but I tried the door and found it unlocked. Upon entering I found a mostly clean bathroom but the soap dispenser issued very little soap because someone had taken it apart and those parts lay across the top of the sink. Fun. After all of this, as I was eating, I noticed the constant long lines of vehicles winding around the building, waiting for the drive-up. So when we left we could not even back up out of our parking space immediately because of the back-up almost to the road. What an experience all for some ice cream. read more

There was a hair on my cheeseburger. I waited five minutes for my food and I got hair on my burger is zero out of 10.

I would not go to McDonald's ever again . The manager with pink purple hair was swearing and not being appropriate at all . And the workers were sitting on the prep counters while someone was making sandwiches next to them . They were not trying to push out food at all it was like a young adult playground . Ordered a McCripsy Chicken Delux, with one flavored black coffee. The "delux" sandwich had zero pickles. The coffee was not flavored, but almost unbelievably, the coffee was barely even warm. How can anyone screw up a cup of coffee? 19 Dec, around 7:30 pm. We hadn't had enough abuse. We returned for more, plus a caramel frappe. We waited 18 minutes in the car to get the frappe. That gives "fast food" an entirely new meaning. It must be nice to be the only "drive through" in town. Somebody has some money invested in the place. But really....good is way over priced, isn't very good anyway, and "almost cold" coffee...are you trying to drive people. The main item I get here is the Newmans own coffee either hot or iced ( and the occasional ice cream:))they've never got my specifications on the coffee wrong and they always seem to be pretty quick/ efficient through the drive thru read more

If you go inside to get something you end up standing at the register for as long as you wanna wait. While they just notice you are there and keep going. I won't even be rude and just be there. Still nothing csnt even bother to give a shit. If I go in drive thru after work it's like playing the lotto if they even take your order. Last few times I went was on purpose because it's funny. read more

I go to this McDonald's because its convenient and you can eat the food. I could give 5 stars for consistency as they consistantly screw up my order as you can see from the pics. Ordering from here is like getting the happy meal prize as a kid. Only way to know what you got was to open the box. Same with the food. read more

Absolutely the worst! I have YET to receive an order made correctly. I actually went into the store this time and saw that the restroom was unbelievably disgusting! Ice machine had no ice. Not sure about rating this a 4/5, but it's a little better than average for a McDonalds. The drive thru is pretty fast most days (except when they're training someone new). The dining room area is clean and the bathrooms are nice as well. They also offer free wifi, which is great. I guess the negative thing for me would be that the one time I was dining in, three employees were basically just goofing off, talking trash to one another, while one of them (she looked too young to be in charge but she was the manager) talked on her cell phone. very horrible !! food is never fresh and old unless u make it clear coming back around the second time threw the drive thru .. trust me it's not the first time this happened ! drive thru is always backed up with a 20 minute wait line and all employees seem to not listen and get the order wrong every time or missing items like sauces or eating utensils along with napkins . their was a time they overcharged me and Dident listen to my order correctly I had to get my food refunded because I no longer wanted it that's why I always check my food before pulling off they make frequent mistakes they need new employees or step it up . read more

Ok, I get that it's McDonald's and I set the bar pretty low because of that. The only thing I expect is prompt food along with mediocre service and food that I regret 20 mins after eating. I've never been to this drive through without waiting 5+ minuites. "Sorry, we just dropped new fries, 4 more mins...." "still waiting on nuggets, 3 more mins" This means 1 item in your order will be piping hot while everything else is cold. What gives, Belchertown staff? Even a 2 is pushing it here. My husband and I frequent this McDonald frequently. (Not sure why)! Employees are not very friendly. Especially when you have to bring back food that wasn't right. I constantly have to bring my burger back up because it has pickles on it. I hate pickles! They have even gone so far as to take it in the back and just take them off. I could still taste pickles. And that is usually after waiting over 10 minutes for our order! Isn't it called "fast food"?? Everyone behind the counter seems to think they are the boss. We even witnessed one employee say to another "why don't you go home and have another stroke"! We spoke to the manager about it and nothing was ever done! Best thing about McDonalds these days is the $1 drinks that you can refill while you hang out and work for a while. But this location has an obnoxious "1 refill only" sign on the drink machine. read more

There were approx. 6 people behind the counter in the back all yelling at the same time to each other. The noise level was deafening. The place was dirty and no condiments were out. The flies were having a great time. The worst part is there was no other people in line. This is the worst McDonald's that I know of in over 50 years of eating at McDondald's. Just about every single time I have ever been there, drive thru or inside, they have had some kind of issue with my order. Even if they get my order right, they have always taken a ridiculously long time to serve the food. If it were not for the fact that it is less than 5 minutes from my home, I would NEVER go there again, if I could avoid it. Unless you want to wait the better part of ten minuets in the drive thru and then asked to pull aside for an additional five minuets for fries, do not go. I have been here multiple times thinking maybe the previous times they were understaffed however every time this occurs. The prices have gone up and the time for "fast food" is increasing. Absolutely FILTHY!!!! NO ONE working there takes any pride in their job. The place is disgusting. I'm talking the entire restaurant. The fountain machine was broken and had spilled all over the floor and it was obvious that it hadn't broken that morning. The dried out chocolate on the floor and walls had been there for quite some time. The stainless steel appliances had not been wiped down. Just streaks of filth that appeared to be wiped with what ever they had at the time. The staff were busy looking at their phones & then getting your food. When I made a commented that it wasn't very clean, the manager gave me a nasty look as he stood ther eating his free food. The fountain machine for drinks was filthy, the ketchup and mustard pumps empty & dried out spouts. The walls near the side seating had dry food & drink splattered on them that where dry ( not freshly done) the floors & tables were sticky. And the bathrooms were gross. Total disgrace. read more
