McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Bedford, Virginia

No complaints really about this location. It's usually a busy one but they're usually pretty well staffed. I've had a bit of a wait a couple times when going by at night near closing (fries late at night seems to mean "pull forward" and wait). Food itself is usually good. My McChicken was piping hot today and satisfied my tastebuds when in a rush for a cheap bite to eat on the road. Restaurant itself is your typical McDonalds. Nothing too special but it is updated and clean inside. As far as fast food restaurants go, this McDonalds location is better than others in the area. As far as Mickey D's, it's not my very favorite but definitely suitable and one I frequent when going down 460. read more

So, I've been going to this McDonald's almost everyday because I like the sugar free French vanilla iced coffee. I use the mobile app which I like and have no issues ordering that way UNTIL the past week. I see several new faces, that's great, but now they aren't reading the tickets correctly. I always get extra ice and extra cream. Today I asked the girl at the first window to please make sure they put the extras in because they haven't been. When I get to the pick up and the girl hands me the coffee, it's very noticeable they did not put extra ice, so I handed it back and said not enough ice. The girl angrily took it and dumped more ice in..thank you ! What rubbed me wrong is that whomever was helping made the comment of "is she complaining about the coffee"? One thing you never do when dealing with the public, is make a comment about a customer. I guess I'll go back to making mine at home read more

Very clean location! Wish it hadn't gotten redesigned though. But it is the cleanest location in the Virginia Seminole District.

I never write reviews, even complaints. However, this McDonalds is going down hill very quickly. Service is slow. I visited twice recently and they "forgot" to bring my food out when they told me to wait in Spot 1. I had to go in, wait for someone to notice me, and ask if food was ready. Three days ago I waited at speaker for 5 minutes and no one ever acknowledged me. When I gave up and drove off, worker at first window was hanging out the window talking and laughing with someone in a vehicle at the window. Other than the car at the first window, no other cars in line except me. I can see why they're not busy! I give up on this McDonalds! They either need new management or management that knows what Customer Service is!! read more

Very slow took close to 30 minutes for my food to be brought out. When I told the server they forgot our cups for drinks she was very rude and told us we can come them ourselves. I knew we had to get them but she could have been way nicer about it. I did not forget the cups they did, so why get mad at a customer who simply is reminding you of something you forgot? I was there this morning on the way to work. All I ask for was an Egg McMuffin and half cut ice tea. I got a sweet ice tea and was told to pull aside for the Egg McMuffin. I live in town and usually have a decent experience with this mcdonalds. However.. Today I received the incorrect change. When I brought it to the attention of the cashier the manager swooped in and took the drawer to count. Okay I get that. 20.Minutes.Later the the came out and said the drawer was only a few cents off... That I would not be receiving my correct change! I protested and she said the only thing left to do was to check the cameras. "Please do!" I replied. 10 more minutes of waiting and she brought me my correct change with the explanation that they followed procedure. Does procedure not include compensation for my time waiting? No coupons. Frankly, this McDonald's in Bedford is not much different than McDonald's everywhere else these days. Lousy food, too small portions, too much money for what you get. This is the WORST McDonald's ever. I have been to many and this one is by far the worst. They are always out of something. They makes tons of mistakes. The ice cream cones are a joke. The management sucks. My step-daughter bit on a screw in her breakfast platter that she was sharing with her 2 year old. When she told the manager he looked at the screw and said "this is a pretty clean screw" WTH! She went to the dentist to get her tooth checked and they refused to pay for it.
