Curbside pick up is convenient and accurate. So thankful for this when I am busy trying to squeeze in a quick lunch!

We left happy, satisfied and full! Just before we left- another table ordered ribs- man...fallin off the bone! The wings are cooked fresh- breaded in house. The collard greens season with pork meat- delicious. The good folks were so nice- very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant has a quiet small setting. Not loud but comforting. Please go in order some food and enjoy! Prices are fantastic too. We will definitely be back!

We visited at lunch time on a weekday. The dining area was busy. Our server was also helping with to go orders. The menu is varied. The bar looks like a fun place to visit. There is also a private room for parties. I had the black bean burger. It was good without bring great. I didn't pay attention to peppers bring in the burger or I would have requested that they be left off. The pieces were large enough that I was able to remove them. The cucumber dill sauce was good. The fries were decent. My guest had the chicken salad. She asked for salmon instead of chicken. She really enjoyed it. The server didn't mention that there was an $8 charge for the substitution. It would have been nice to have been informed. The poppy seed dressing was good. There were gaps in service since our server was over worked. I asked for help from others when I needed it. This is a popular location. Plan accordingly.

It's in Lexington, home of VMI, and the shop itself is diagonal from a post office built in 1911 with large columns lining its edifice. Sometimes, when college students leave great reviews, that means good food that isn't too expensive. True here, especially for what you get: generous servings on amazing bakery breads. I had the "Sorry Charlie" on a slice of focaccia -- topped with tomato slices and melted cheese and a satisfyingly crunchy, warm crust, with a simple but nicely refreshing black bean and corn salad. Dessert treats are also worth a splurge. The people couldn't be friendlier with customers of all ages enjoying themselves. (And they have a coffee bar. And a "speakeasy"!)

I also got The Yardbird sandwich after the server recommended it. It's basically just chicken salad and lettuce between a ciabatta roll, but it was simple and great. And what the heck: I can't visit a bakery that has multiple sweets without getting one. I also listened to the advice of the server when she recommended the orange scone. She was right again! It was tender and tasted like a Froot Loop. Blue Sky is located on the corner of a busy street. There are lots of tables, but if you can, sit at the bar that looks out onto the street to see the hustling and bustling college town.

My 6yo daughter had the waffles, I got the twoseez which was basically toast, scrambled eggs and bacon (which said daughter took), pre-teen son had a bagel sandwich, and wife had an omelette. My wife's omelette was extremely flavorful. What really made it wonderful was the owner's kindness and honesty. Knowing we were tourists asked us what we planned on doing and when mentioning the near by safari park, he said "oh don't play to feed the animals" which was exactly what we needed our kids to hear because two week prior the kids had a field trip to a petting zoo and my daughters class including her all got sick and I didn't want a repeat of that on our vacation... so thank you dude. But also he gave some insider info on where else to go around and that was also appreciated.

I just kept saying good bye as we walked away to the sound to his street mouth curses. IDK who hired this person, or if he owns it, he is in the wrong business. Maybe he should consider another occupation. I would suggest truck driver, but I would not want to degrade the truck drivers to his level. My recommendation is to go somewhere else till he learns hospitality and some manors.

The s'mores latte is usually my go-to, though I've had several different drinks here and all have been great - hot or iced. They also have some really nice cafe food items that are nice for breakfast or lunch. We've had a number of their baked goods and have never been disappointed. We usually pick up several things to have at our rental for breakfasts and desserts. I've been often enough to make sure and get some of the seasonal options you can't always get. Their fall items are especially good. They've also got some cool merch and gift items. I've added a couple of pretty mugs to my coffee station here at home. The staff is always friendly and are very helpful with suggestions on drinks and food. If you haven't been in, you're really missing out.

My girlfriend's parent's have a house by Smith Mountain Lake, and she recommended SML. We were down there during the week around 4th of July 2024. We went the day before the 4th on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. In terms of the quality of drink & food, it's subpar, but staff was friendly & accommodating, which gets it from 2 to 3-stars for me. We went for lunch getting a turkey wrap & iced chai. Turkey wrap was decent, but it was kind of a small amount of meat & wrap overall. It came with chips. It wasn't that much food, but I didn't care too much as I was ok with a bit lighter. As for the iced chai, it was weak. It was mostly milk, not much of the flavoring. I told them to add more chai to it, which they did but it was kind of too late. They were nice and remade me a latte drink since I didn't like the chai. The latte was better, but not great either. My g/f agreed afterward that SML was weaker than she remembered. It's a cute place with a gift shop, nice staff, but drink especially was subpar.
