Eh- we have definitely had better McDonald's experiences. We hit up this location before hitting the road again after staying at a local hotel. I do like that the drive thru is open 24/7... Though, the actual drive thru is kind of weird in my opinion... Like, you can't pull in to the parking lot from the main street, you have to turn down a side street to enter, no big deal... But the way the drive thru ordering kiosks are situated, you then have to make a whole lap of the building to get in the drive thru lane. (Weird) Unfortunately, after a lengthy drive thru wait, we got our food and it was sub-par. Our "hot and crispy" has towns were Luke-warm and soggy. My sausage McMuffin with egg was ho-hum. The coffee was good. Piping hot. The staff was friendly. Since when did McDonald's have MOZZ STICKS?!?! I am intrigued. read more

I waited 10 minutes for a breakfast burrito before I finally had to leave empty-handed. They were not busy; exactly 2 people were served while I was waiting, and one of them ordered only coffee. The only employee actually working was a woman energetically mopping the floors. I would make her the manager, as she could at least lead by example. read more

Terrible attitude from manager toward group of 56 people on a bus. She ran the driver off after most had gotten off because they didn't all go into McDonald's. Some did, and were still on the bus. The driver spent a long time making sure he didn't block more than he had to, using blocked off area for most of the bus. There manager chased out into the parking lot as he was heading in, to complain & make him move the bus. Stay away from here! Not because of the obvious health risks, but for the attitude demonstrated by those supposed to be setting a good example of customer service. read more

I never write reviews but this place was so bad. Waited half an hour and then got the wrong order and had to wait another half and hour to get the right one. They also took forever giving back change, the employee clocked out before we had to go out to parking lot to ask her to give us our change cause she was the only one who took our order and after that she finally told someone to get it from the back. Waited in drive thru for 30 minutes at 2:30 pm on a Friday. Hard to get in and out due to traffic.

It took them 25 minutes to make coffee!!! 3 iced coffees and 1 smoothie! That is Ridiculous and very very sad!!!! They asked me to pull forward, which is their way to not waste their drive through times. Well now I will post it in all social media, EVERYTHING, and everywhere! Never in my life has a McDonalds who uses the cheapest of cheap coffee will I ever wait this long! If I ever decide to come back to this location, I may buy it just to make them make it and then have them return my money. After a long day of riding in a bus, eating here was a great experience that contributed to my happiness. In addition to the employee's kindness, the manager came out and brought me the food that I had ordered but had to leave because the bus was ready to go. The order taker was one of the nicest workers I've seen at a McDonald's and was accurate with the order. At the window I did have to remind them about a happy meal they forgot to hand me but it happens, food was good and service was fast so no complaints. read more

Well it's McDonald's. I get the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It's usually fine, but for someone who doesn't like hamburgers (me) it's not great. Fries are good, but the bathrooms are extremely messy. I recommend Wendy's over McDonald's any day. read more

Has got to be the worse managed McDonalds in the planet. Let's see its next to the major east west I 64 It's on one of the main streets in Beckley and there are FIVE hotels within 100 yards So its Friday night at 7.30pm and there are at least six people waiting for their order plus 4 traveling families with young children waiting to place an order....now here is the issue ONE register open and the poor guy running the register is given an order to deliver to a waiting car outside. He looks around amazed knowing that if he goes to deliver no one will be taking care of the constant inbound customers. When he asked if somone else could deliver it another employee told him no. PART 2 my food... a six piece order of chicken strips no sauce no meal nothing else not complicated it would seem except for you know THE WAIT so when its finally delivered #1 not hot #2 they had been fried in the dirtiest grease I have ever seen (McDonald's requires all fryers are drained cleaned and the grease filtered daily if not more) I guess that did not happen IN A FEW DAYS..#3 Sorry there is no #3 as i just put them in the trash and left I guess i could have made this review simple by saying "AVOID IT JUST DRIVE TO THE NEXT STATE AND FIIND ANOTHER MCDONALD'S IF YOU ARE REALLY CRAVING THE SWILL THEY SERVE FOR FOOD" read more

THE SLOWEST "fast food" EVER. I stop here off the interstate usually for a quick meal, yet every time I have come the drive tru and inside takes AT LEAST 15 minutes to get my food, even at obscure times during the day where you think it would be fast. Fairly clean, large outdoor play area, and apparently a prime location--every time we passed by over the course of two days, cars were coming out of the parking lot's ears. Just checked in at the courtyard next door just before midnight after a long day at work with no food so I walked over to McDonald's to pick up a burger but I was refused service because I was WALKING. I was sober and dressed in my office attire if that makes any difference. The omelette shop next door was more than happy to take my business and made me a double cheeseburger to go. Absolutely do not come here. Stopped at this McDonald's on a road trip, and was severely disappointed. I have been to many McDonald's in my life, and this is bar none the worst. 'Caitlin', the cashier, obviously could not give less of a shit about her job. There was a fairly decent line when we came in, but it wasn't that many people. It was simply because Caitlin was too busy talking to her coworkers and some women to bother actually doing her job. The food took 10 minutes to come up, and was lukewarm at best when it did. An employee got into an argument with the shift manager while taking my order and quit on the spot. One register open and 15 people waiting is the norm: don't expect quick service or fast food. I was at this McDonald's today in the early afternoon for a late lunch. The lady in purple, who I found out a little later was the store manager was throwing a hissy fit so loud in public you could hear throughout the entire building. That kind of behavior is worst than a two year old. I never saw such childish behavior in my life. After seeing such behavior I called the office number and was told someone would call me back. No one did, guess they don't care about their customer's opinions. I will never go there again unless I want a show with my meal, and I mean a very bad show at that. From now on, I will be taking my business to a different fast food restaurant that is not incorporated with McDonald'. Burger King just opened up across the street from them and they have way better customer service. read more
