Ordering breakfast in drive up at this location this morning was telling of these reviews. 10 minutes in drive up, the attitude and personalities of the men at the windows was horrendous. Wasn't charged correctly and had to repeat what I ordered to the pickup window multiple times, no apologies, no communication that was polite, just nasty nasty people. I regret not driving off for the grands sake, but will never go here for any reason again. For the first time in a long while, I've actually eaten McDonald's. It's usually just coffee and the occasional Egg McMuffin. I always use the McDonald's app to pay for it. This afternoon, I got a push notification that my points were expiring. Today. This McDonald's was along the way and so I stopped in any used the app to select my free reward item, a spicy McChicken sandwich. That's it. No drink, no fries. While waiting, I could see that the store needed cleaning. Spill on the floor, trash on the floor, spill on the counter of the condiments/soda station. The crew member who handed my my sandwich was polite and understandable when she called out my number. So that was nice. Opening it in the car, it was hot but they seemed to have missed half the lettuce and mayo not on the sandwich. Not sure what happened there. Overall? Could have been better. My wife and I Waited in line for 20min for two large meals. People waiting In line behind us were getting there food and leaving. So I went inside to ask where my food was. And the manager told me they threw it out and that they will make me my order again. While I was waiting for my meal, the ""workers" behind the counter were slapping their hair, not knowing how to count and the manager was scanning a receipt from a low county urgent care in the lobby. It took them an additional 15 minutes to get me my food. When I got home and opened my McDonald's bag, they gave me the wrong size fries. Not a single "worker" in that McDonalds should be getting paid more than $1.25 an hour. Fire everyone and hire people who work. read more

Went there at 9pm with a confirmation for an online order and was told they were closed. Told them my confirmation number and was told to call the 800 number for a refund. Told them their online hours do not reflect their closure and they turned the lights off and stopped responding. 10 other cars came and left including a confirmed door dash order. This is the worst McDonalds I've ever been too. They claim that they open at 6 a.m., however, they usually just open up whenever they feel like it which is typically past 7. Their excuses range from "our manager isn't here yet so we can't do anything", "we ain't got no money cuz our manager aint here" to "we don't got enough people working today". I walked over one time to get something to-go from their lobby, and the lobby was closed at 8 a.m. because they said they only had enough people to man the drive thru. On the rare occasion that you can get service at the drive thru, it'll take anywhere from 5-15 minutes even without a line of cars. This is a seriously mismanaged franchise. read more

I haven't visited a McDonald's in quite awhile. Was with a friend who was starving and wanted to run in "quick" and get a burger. You have to order from a kiosk that doesn't work. Workers laughing, chasing each other , using vulgar language- not willing to help. Actually they just ignore your calls. Even staring at them they refuse to acknowledge your presence. After waiting 20 minutes (no exaggeration) the burger was ice cold. I guess, since there is no ice in the ice machine for soda, they give you an ice cold meal. Have to really yell to get help- to be told you got the wrong meal. Handed another meal- except it wasn't the quarter pounder with cheese that was ordered. All tables were filthy and sticky. The girls in the drive thru think it's funny to make fun of the customers and everyone from the casher to the person handing you your food look like they are barely alive. This is a modern looking McDonald's. It has recently been remodeled and looks great. The fountain machine is all touch screen. Very cool. Now the bad news, they have bad service. The employees seem more interested in their conversations between themselves and not concerned with serving the customers. They really don't seem to care, and it's a shame because the restaurant looks so nice. I guess if you dress up a pig it's still just a pig. The food is ok. It's what you'd expect from McDonald's. No issue with the machine except no receiptt printed. Waited 20min for my order, it never came. They lost the order somehow so I told them what I ordered. Got my food 5min later, walked to the van, noticed there were no fries. Waited for fries. By far, the Lady's Island location has the worst customer service, wait times, errors, incompetence, we have ever experienced. It doesn't matter what time of the day you visit, be prepared for a 15 minute wait at the drive thru. Think you can get better service inside? Think again. Waited the same amount of time at the counter. We get quicker service at a sit down restaurant. If you visit just be prepared. Bring some reading material like the Bible or Moby Dick. You may need the former to get some spiritual peace and calm to quell your rising blood pressure. read more
