Every time we come to this one in Sublett and 287 in the shopping center with the car service center and a SONIC next door, the kids are always happy. The staff is always cheery, even if they're teens. Teens generally don't care about their job, it's common.. but you don't get that at this location. This McDonalds is sooo convenient for me. Yet they continue to just piss off the customers to the point of NO RETURN. That's where I'm at now. I will drive farther to just have service that doesn't ignore me. When I go to the Sublett Rd. store they have enough employees to operate a register. I do NOT want to order from a kiosk. I have alterations to my order that cannot be done on a kiosk. And I really hate having to explain that each time I go in. I enjoy going to McDonalds. The other day I stood there, at the register waiting, waiting, and waiting. All while watching employees doing nothing as I am right in front of them. Some girl, talking at the register to another, right in front of me. After there conversation she walks away leaving me wondering if I am invisible. Then I call her back and ask if she was going to take my order. Her reply? You have to use the kiosk to order, where I reply... I do not want to use the kiosk. So what happens next? She gets a manager over where she is questioning my refusal to use a kiosk. So, after to many frustrations at this location I told the manager, I'm good, I'll go elsewhere, and walked out. Seriously? How's that for customer service? So there is a Burger King right around the corner where they have WiFi, breakfast deals, and a friendly staff. I recommend that over Sublett rd. McDonalds. OR there are plenty of McDonalds around. It would be worth your mental health to visit another. I am in Texas for a undetermined amount of time and do not have time for a restaurant to treat people like that. I HIGHLY recommend the Walnut Creek 287 location. Ordered on the app to have the food delivered. It was delivered through DoorDash. It was extremely late. The order tracker showed two other drivers were picking up the food until the third driver actually picked it up and delivered it. From the time the order was placed to when it was delivered was about an hour. Didn't receive all the food ordered. I used my points to get a free Big Mac and didn't receive it. They need to remove themselves from the online order app because they are constantly out of things ordered, or unable to make them. The crew attempts to be nice, but it's gotten repetitively OLD. And their inability to keep the Frappe and Milk Shake machines running two days in a row is an epic fail. I'm at the point I call before placing an order to make sure things are working, but am met with a scoff and sniff, like me calling was inconvenient and unnecessary. It's not. My first job was at McDonald's back in 1985, it is a solid fast food go to (the fries are amazing), and it is one of the best stocks in my portfolio. With that being said, this location needs to be CLOSED. My son and I were returning from a Mavs game on Thursday 12/23. It was 10pm and the app stated that it was opened until 1am. My son placed an order for us using the app. We get up to the drive thru and there were about 5 cars in line. It was hardly moving at all. When I get up to the menu board I was not greeted. I sat there for 5 minutes patiently waiting. Well seeing that our order was accepted and paid for, I drive around to the window. Looking into the restaurant, there was trash all over the floors and two women cleaning the store. The window was closed and they ignored me trying to get their attention.........it never happened. They wasted 30 minutes of my life and defeated my son so much that he just wanted to go home at this point. Why not have some decency and at least tape a sign on the menu board explaining that there is something wrong and not let people just rot in the drive thru. Heck Burger King across the highway turned off its lights and sign letting us know that was not a option. No telling how man people wasted their time last night. read more

I was so disappointed, they didn't even get my oatmeal right, twice. Yesterday morning, I picked up my usual McDonald's breakfast: oatmeal and a Powerade (this location is closer to me, now). When I got to work and opened my oatmeal, I laughed out of shock. I literally had four spoonfuls worth of oatmeal in my cup and it was very dry, were they serious?
