After ordering a combo meal, I was given a medium cup to fill my drink and have seat. Then my order was promptly delivered in 8 minutes to the booth table. I didn't get her name due to no name tags... smh but she was kind to ask which dipping sauce I desired: Honey Mustard, BBQ or Ranch. I enjoyed all three one sauce for each tender. :-) I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and it was worth the 30 minute drive. My niece is a local in Almont and while visiting her for the day back in November 2023, she treated Me to a delicious and plentiful lunch here inside Maria's Place at 141 S. Main Street in downtown Almont. No street parking therefore park in back and use their convenient back door. The deco inside is old fashioned so check out the views all the way around. This restaurant is certainly a family place of traditional dining serving large portions too. The Menus are designed with Big Appetites in mind, so enjoy and clean your plate or take the rest home. My complaint...1 person asked for extra plum sauce to take with her leftover salmon. She received a plastic container with approximately 3 ounces of sauce. The charge $3.00. I am not cheap, or I wouldn't be treating people to rib-eye steak or salmon that we enjoyed at a place like White Horse Inn. But...I do consider WHI to be cheap and willing to sacrifice losing a customer with that kind of service, or lack thereof.
