This is very important since i own several rentals in the area. Basically I needed a washer dryer unit to be moved out of the way so the HVAC crew could make repairs, and moved back in place upon completion. To top it all off he charged 60% less than those 'highly reviewed' handymen. Pavel Handyman has made a customer for life.

My wife and I have built three decks at previous houses which we owned. We decided to hire someone…read moreto build the deck on our current home and requested bids from four companies. Charlotte Deck Builders was the lowest bidder. We are more than pleased with the deck they built. Not only did Victor and Anibal build a great deck but they exceeded our expectations and they were meticulous in their attention to the smallest details. They built a great deck. Admittedly, our project was smaller than others we saw in the gallery but our interactions with Diego and Eddy, the owner of CBD, was very pleasant. Each treated us as if we were as important as if we were clients with other, larger projects. The only negative comment we have is the invoicing process -- it was confusing and difficult to interpret. But, in the end, Eddy is an honest, reliable business owner who is true to his word. We cannot recommend CBD high enough to build the deck you want.

I can easily break the links with my hands and I'm not that strong. One of our dogs just pushed through the bottom of the fence without trying. We had them come back to tighten the tension wire and they promised it was industrial strength. Dogs pushed out again. With ease. We watched them do it. Didn't even have to really push. So we went and bought temporary stakes and 2x4s to secure the bottom of the fence until they can get back out to fix it. Their fix including cutting our stakes we just purchased and running the tension wire through those! The issue is the fencing is not industrial strength. It's the cheapest of cheapest materials. We have since had 3 other fence companies come out to give us quotes to fix this since JM won't return phone calls

Once my wife and I decided to replace the deck on the back of our house, I set out to find a…read morebuilder among the many deck builders online. By good fortune I selected The Deck Builder to visit. Woody spent 2 hours or so discussing options and his own vision of the completed deck. He had samples of decking colors and railings in his truck. We had him quote his suggestions. The project also included new screen on the adjacent screened porch and a new door between the deck and the porch. We had decided our maximum price for the project in advance and were delighted when the quote was lower than our limit. Woody does the work himself and builds only decks. He filed for a building permit. I doubt many deck builders do that. We had periodic inspections. Woody's philosophy is that if you "build to code" you meet minimal standards. Woody said, "If you meet minimal standards, you get a minimal deck." For example, the code specifies the number of pillars that support the deck above the ground. They must be in the ground and packed with dirt. Woody installed more than minimal number and set them in concrete. There were other examples. Woody kept us informed of work planned in the next few days. The job site was kept to a minimum and packed up at the end of the day. Find The Deck Builder LLC on the Web and look at his remarkable work. Have him visit. You will be delighted by the deck he builds for you.
