I cannot speak highly enough about this company. They were phenomenal in preparing a foundation leak for us in April of this year. This weekend the valve in our main bathroom stuck on and would not shut off. We were having to turn the water to the house on and off. I tried to replace the valve cartridge, but was unable to get it out and ended up breaking the center post off while attempting to remove it. I contacted a different plumber who quoted me $750 to replace the valve. That plumber said he could drop by on Monday, but wasn't able to make it. To shorten the story, he committed to Tuesday and Wednesday with various times and assurances. The last commitment was Wednesday at 10:00. He never showed, never followed up, and I have not heard from him since. I contacted McCourt and Sons Plumbing. Jason contacted me that day and set an appointment for 8:30 Friday. His plumber Selen arrived early at 7:45. He broke the cartridge out, installed a new cartridge, and was finished by 8:15. The charge was $325, less than half the other plumbers quote. My heater would not turn on so I called a few HVAC guys for possible repair or installation of new system since mine was pushing 25 years old. Jason and his team came out to trouble shoot it. They spent 45 mins checking the system and even called for part costs from my attic. I decided to go with a new 5 ton system since Jason beat the other bids and I liked how he spent time checking the unit and gave me options I went with McCort. The completed the demo in a few hours and showed up the next day for a good install. He also found a few pin hole gas leaks in my pool heater supply and fixed those. I was instantly told I needed to replace my water heater and was quoted for $4200. I received 3 other quotes around $3000. I called McCourts, they caNe ouT and were at my Door promptly at 8am. Looked over my tank, assures me that I didn't need a new tank at all. They replaced two hoses, had everything up and running in maybe 15 minutes. Gave me reassurance that I didn't need a new tank. I had a great experience using McCourt & Sons. I had an issue with 2 of our toilets, a supply line leak in one, and a broken handle/leaky flapper on another. Admittedly, not a very complex job, but my time is valuable, I'd rather have a professional do it and save the time. Called on a Wednesday afternoon and spoke with Jason. I explained the issue and asked for a rough estimate for a verbal quote. He was happy to do that, and the price was fair. They had an opening for the next morning between 8-10AM. We love McCourt & Sons for many various reasons. For more than 5 years they have been taking care of all of AC needs from fixing broken units to maintaining units to installing new units. We have a 4000 sq. ft. house with 2 large AC units that are under a maintenance contract, every 6 months Scott/Jason (owners) come out and make sure both units get a thorough check up and change the filters throughout the entire house. They are very professional and extremely trustworthy. I especially love that they never try to up sell you on anything. They are very easy to reach and on rare occasions when I had to leave a voicemail...they always return my call quickly. I highly recommend this company.
