History
Established in 1975.
Established in 1975.
Dr. Joseph McCormick and his talented staff opened the first McCormick Orthodontics office back on May 7, 1975. It was the community's first orthodontic practice. Since then, generations upon generations have seen their smiles and dental health improve under McCormick's care in the Southern Chester County community.
One of the greatest accomplishments Dr. Joe relishes is having his daughter, Dr. Michaela McCormick continue to serve the Southern Chester County and North East, Maryland communities with commitments to clinical excellence and positive patient experiences. With thousands of patients successfully treated, some of them dating all the way back to that three-chair office on Locust Street in 1975, McCormick Orthodontics continues to be a staple of orthodontic excellence in the Southern Chester County community.
Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Michaela McCormick ..
Dr. Michaela McCormick is a graduate of Middlebury College and Temple University School of Dentistry. She completed her orthodontist specialty training and residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics before joining McCormick Orthodontics in 2008.
A Board Certified orthodontist and member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. McCormick is also a member of the Schulman Study Group, an esteemed national study club of practitioners and academics who convene each year to discuss and study the best methods and advances in orthodontic care.
Dr. Michaela took over for her father in 2011. She loves children, and finds enormous joy in watching them grow and chatting with them at each visit. She practices a balance of preventative and proactive orthodontic care, and believes every parent and patient deserves a thorough explanation of the issues at hand and the recommended treatment plan.
