Anyway, I'm writing, *yet again*, to let consumers know about the inconsistency of their quality. When these dates are good, they are among the best of any I've ever tasted. But when they're not, it's a real disappointment, and I have had that experience more than once over the past two years since I've moved to the Central Coast and discovered these dates. Some of the issues are dryness (almost to the point of dessication) as well as an unappetizing, burnt flavor, which I just experienced with both of the packages I've purchased within the last couple of weeks. The fact that I never know from one time to the next whether I'm going to receive a 'good' batch or a 'bad' batch is frustrating. I'm wondering if they taste-test these dates prior to sending them out for public consumption? Apparently the best season for dates is September through November, so does that mean consumers have to put up with inferior quality the remainder of the year? Maybe they don't think consumers will notice that their date quality is erratic, but we do. And it's disappointing. And expensive. I've wasted a lot of money, having to toss those dates which I consider to be virtually inedible. But perhaps the biggest disappointment is their lack of concern, indicated by their lack of any response, when I have provided them with three opportunities to do so. I hate to have to give them a one star review, but that's what they deserve, based upon their non-existent customer service.

Though the past couple of experiences that I've had with them - my dates have been fairly dry - I'm not ready to give up on Del Real. Their dates are fresh and organic and when they're moist - they're unbelievable Trust.

So any pets and animals on the Ranch - like the bunnies and wild rabbits - don't even run away. The wild animals feel the loving energy there and don't run away in fear. Barbara will talk to you about anything. You can talk about health, how and where they get their products, how it's made, how it's special, history of the area. Everyone that saw the place today wished we could spend our lives there. It's a beautiful community, family, farm, ranch, and people.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've encountered this issue. Every time I buy vegetables or fruits from your store, they turn out to be old and in poor condition. I bought a bag of wrapped romaine lettuce that I was told was fresh and new. However, when I got home and opened it, it was clearly old and wilted, as shown in the attached photo. It is not worth to return it as the trip is going to cost be more than 3.99. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your quality control. Customers deserve fresh, quality produce--especially when it's advertised as such.

I was amazed that there was an entire shop dedicated to all things mushroom, and then I saw that they served food too! I love mushroom, and when I couldn't get this place out of my mind, I had to head here before leaving town in the morning. Once this placed opened in the morning, we were the first one in. Got to try their truffle oil and sit down for a morning brunch. This isn't your typical brunch place, it was just the time I was there to eat. I tried their empanada, mushroom soup, and then their truffle mushroom grilled cheese, and I have to state that it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had. My mouth is still watering thinking about that sandwich. I picked up some items to go such as truffle oil and dried mushroom and was on my way. The shop is small and there is only counter space to eat, but the shop is so cute tucked away near a neighborhood street. I can't wait to go back here if I ever have the chance again.

I even saw kombucha there but it went fast. It was well organized and different foods kept replenishing the tables. There were close to 250 people there but there was plenty of food. They provided a big selection of grilled mushrooms and chicken. Also paper plates, utensils and napkins. We'll be back and will bring our picnic basket, table and chairs.
