For the past 8 months, I struggled to heal from lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) and a neck joint that was out of place creating immense neck and upper back pain. Prior to being treated by Melanie, I was beginning to fear that I may never return to my prior level of functioning. I couldn't remember what it was like to turn my head without severe pain. I had resigned to the fact that simple tasks like running the vacuum or preparing a meal would always equate to pain. I had sought relief through physical therapy, massage therapy and chiropractic care- trying each healing modality independently and consistently, allowing time for my body to respond to the intended care plans. My pain level would decrease for a few days, but never for more than a week at a time which was so frustrating. My massage therapist recommended acupuncture to identify and address the root causes. The cashier apologizes and said they were sold out for the day. It was 5:30 pm. They close at 8:00 pm. I was immediately sad I never got the option to try a dessert so delicious it sells out before closing. I mentioned going before the end of the month at the start and thats because the cashier took a call where he told the customer that "no they were not closed yet" and that "they would be here through the end of the month." The cashier then mentioned to a regular that they were handing over the restaurant to his cousin and while they will have the same recipes, he is not sure if the food will be the same. I also think I heard him mention something about getting a spot in Monterey and you can bet good money that if they do, ima be there.
