The staff were knowledgeable and approachable and gave us advice on how to minimise spending (by taking up the old carpet and disposing it ourselves, save the carpet grips, etc). They also advised us to sign up to their newsletter emails to get a further 10% off. They also offer a free delivery and fitting services if you buy some fancy underlay too. Arranging a fitting was stress-free and we were contacted by phone regarding an update on time on the day. They were professional and quick and left no mess to clean up. We had freshly painted skirting boards and no scratches were left whatsoever. Overall, a great value and professional service that leaves a beautifully fitted carpet!

I find I can get a good deal here on good quality carpets. They always have offcuts if you need a smaller piece of carpet which are often big enough to do a small room. Overall a good shop & well worth a visit if you need some new carpets/flooring.

He did not tell me about it, maybe he thought I wouldn't notice? I contacted the owner who offered me a 50% refund or to be fitted again. Besides this, the actual fitting of the floor is beyond terrible. It's all raised and bumped up everywhere, like it's not been cut to size properly and it doesn't quiet fit. I'm ready for a new one already - do not waste your money.

Shocking service, communication, and attitude. DO NOT USE, save yourself stress and money…read more We used Manchester Carpet Fitters to fit the carpets for us and they did reasonably good. However, the second job we gave them was a disaster. The vinyl we paid them to fit was cut too short and wasted. The fit quality was shocking, peeling on the sides and uneven in the whole kitchen. Aluminum carpet strip was put down the toilet (so if we get a blockage and leak in the next few weeks we'll know why...). When we reported an issue to them - they promised they'll fix their work and order vinyl replacement. After that, they were ignoring us and our phonecalls for 4 days. They never had any plans to fix their errors but wanted to waste our time which they did successfully. To top everything off they had the keys to our property and some more materials which they refused to give back. We had to get the locks changed to secure our property. Just to show you their attitude here's one of their messages I received when trying to sort out the issue: "I'm not interested, keep the fitting and order yourself new keys and laminate, thanks bye. I have better things to do." Be very careful if ever giving them any work or giving them access to your property.

Domestic clients, like myself, even get the chance to pay for their flooring weekly and on a 0% finance, and I have never heard of that before. They have a small stock to takeaway but promise a next day delivery from their suppliers. I live locally, but they cover all of Manchester and supply to businesses also.
