Right off the bat, I felt very at ease with her as a therapist. We established my goals for seeking therapy and discussed strategies for treatment. She's very knowledgeable and took the time to really educate me on the various treatment options we could explore. Talk therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy helped me become better equipped to deal with my feelings of anxiety and talk myself down before they started to get the better of me. I feel stronger as a person now and more able to handle the curve balls that life throws my way. I'm really grateful for her help. I've never felt down before so seeing a therapist was a first and a big move for a 27 year old dude. Adam's solution was immediately medication along with journaling. I was feeling unmotivated and this was the exact task I couldn't accomplish. I also said I didn't want to take pills. Neither made sense. I solved my own problem. I just needed some sunshine and vitamin D. Along with a belittling attitude, Adam spent 20 min of the hour session trying to run my credit card through their machines. Struggling to swipe my card was the focus during my 2 visits. Getting my money felt more important than the goal of helping people. You are suppose to have a 40 minute appointment but they book you for 20 minutes and you don't know until you get into the doctor's office when he says you are only here for 20 minutes due to the schedule. Or when you check in the receptionist never tells the doctor you are here. He comes out of the office and says oh you are here and you say yes I have been waiting. This is all incompetence. It goes on and on. They cannot keep anyone at the front desk. The biggest problem is doctor patient confidentiality. If you go to a therapist there they ask you to sign a waiver to share some information. In reality, that's not true it's a farce. The therapist is allowed to read everything whether you want them to or not. So that was very deceiving and dishonest. So there is nothing but lies, mistakes and a whole lot of incompetence going on at Sun Pointe Health from the staff all the way to the doctor's.

The staff have always been friendly and courteous. Dr. Turay is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Not many psychiatrists will spend an hour talking to a patient every time as she does with me and the conversations go beyond just the medicinal to encompass a multi-pronged approach to treatment, including communication with my other health care providers.
