Jena has been the most excellent therapist I could have wished for--in listening, understanding, bringing both professional and personal knowledge to bear on my process of trying to get freer of all this and be able to move forward. She introduced to me concepts and terminology that shined so much light on things I've been through, made them understandable and thus, able to be dealt with. Jena asks questions, suggests alternative points of view about things that I had never considered. I can't say enough about how helpful my therapy with Jena has been--the progress I have made is enormous. Also, the physical space itself is beautiful, and everything to do with billing and scheduling has been very easy and accommodating.

Then when I called the insurance company, Journey to you never sent the bill and I also check online to see if the bill when the processed. The owner never call me back to straighten this problem out. So Journey to You sent my bill to collection. Oh yes not even days after they received the payment from the insurance company. I even called the collection agency and they stated in deed the company uses them for deploy tacked to get people to pay. When the person doesn't then the company legal goes after the person. But by law Journey to You has not followed the Law Guide Lines on Collection. But Remember, The Owner Never Calls you period. The Staff Is very Rude and Loud on the Phone Very Disrespectful

What a terrible fall. Years ago this office was competent. I have no idea what could have happened…read more This is supposed to be the best place around. IF that's true, pray for the state of our local mental healthcare. I once told a therapist something made me feel "So, so, so, so, SO sad," and her response was to ask about my pets. She never circled back around to ask about what made me sad. Other reviews say they don't pick up or call you back. Not true. In my experience, if you call them 40 times in a row, you can speak to a person. They will, however, decline to call you back when they say they will, so go ahead and spam them if they lie to you (which is often). They refuse to let me see anyone for med management besides one jerk PA who refuses to listen to me. His name is Michael Bohr. He is fundamentally incurious about my experiences. It is obvious he lacks the experience to provide quality care. If I try to advocate for my treatment, he treats me like I'm med-seeking. He gets this look in his eye like you're a piece of garbage. One time, I went in to review test results. When I asked him how they compared to a previous test, he acted annoyed, like I was bothering him. Apparently it was too inconvenient to review my results BEFOREHAND, so he was resigned to clicking back and forth between two PDFs. Useless. The office ladies DO. NOT. CARE. They're perfectly happy servicing a walk-in with no appointment while legitimate customers wait. I wish I was joking. I had to wait 20 minutes while some random who didn't even have an appointment played gossip about non-medical issues with the ONE receptionist (the one who felt like helping anyone, at least) who didn't seem to mind that 3 of us were waiting. They don't care who you are or how long you've been waiting or if you've cut the line. They were unclear about exactly what a test was, so now I'm unable to get the same test I already had scheduled from an actually reputable institution. I would not have submitted to their testing if that had been honest up front about what it was. I feel abused and mistreated. I don't wish this torture on anyone. It's enough to leave a person crazy.

You are suppose to have a 40 minute appointment but they book you for 20 minutes and you don't know until you get into the doctor's office when he says you are only here for 20 minutes due to the schedule. Or when you check in the receptionist never tells the doctor you are here. He comes out of the office and says oh you are here and you say yes I have been waiting. This is all incompetence. It goes on and on. They cannot keep anyone at the front desk. The biggest problem is doctor patient confidentiality. If you go to a therapist there they ask you to sign a waiver to share some information. In reality, that's not true it's a farce. The therapist is allowed to read everything whether you want them to or not. So that was very deceiving and dishonest. So there is nothing but lies, mistakes and a whole lot of incompetence going on at Sun Pointe Health from the staff all the way to the doctor's.

My treatment is for acute depression, chronic PTSD, and generalized anxiety disorder, all of which are mostly under control.

Had an appointment for February 10th all set up and filled out all the paperwork they sent me. Today, they called and told me the therapist I had the appointment with read my preliminary paperwork and didn't think we'd be a good fit for each other, so they cancelled the appointment. So that's 43 days I was waiting for a therapist, assuming I was going to eventually get one here. Now, I have no problem whatsoever with them telling me that me and the therapist wouldn't be a good match. I know the importance of a therapist and client being a good fit for each other. What I am unhappy about is the fact that they could've had me fill out the screening paperwork 43 days ago, told me I wasn't a good fit, and I could've spent the last month and a half trying to find a therapist that wouldn't reject me as a patient. Additionally, after being sent away, I browsed through their counselors to see if any of the other therapists there that I wasn't matched with might seem like an okay match and I recognized the name of one of them: Tessa Bills. A few years ago, my girlfriend-at-the-time went to Tessa for therapy for a few sessions before quitting. She said Tessa was very dismissive and condescending and Tessa played around with her phone for more than half of each session rather than paying attention to the girl who was there for help. Since not only my time was wasted by this place, but my ex's time was also wasted here, I figured they deserved a review of my experiences. To give them credit where credit is due, Jade did give me a few recommendations of other counselors in town. I'm going to explore those options now, but I wish I could've been exploring them 43 days ago. Tl;dr: They wasted a lot of my time trying to get a therapist, putting me on a waitlist for 43 days only to reject me when it was my turn on the waitlist. Additionally, my ex-girlfriend had a rather unprofessional experience with one of the therapists here.
