He is humble and has no problem referring you somewhere else if what your pet needs is beyond his expertise. We use him for most minor surgeries, spay, neuter, exams, vaccinations, etc. For our OFA X-Rays, we use Dr Minor in Templeton as he has the most up to date machines. For weekend or after hours emergency service, we go to Atascadero Pet Hospital. Otherwise, during normal business hours, Dr Aarons can handle most situations.

I was relieved to get an appointment the next afternoon. Missy and I were welcomed by Receptionist, Becca and Dr. Aaron's rescue dog, Ollie. Missy's ear infection was treated right away and she had a spa type "Peticure," surprisingly at no extra charge. I've been charged $35 for a nail trim at another office. BIGGEST SURPRISE - The Bill! Missy and I are new Fans of Dr. Aarons. His rates for dental care for my 10 year old MinPin is going to be very reasonable compared to the quote from the two other Veterinarian offices. The vet called me explained everything she was considering and waited for my OK which I promptly gave because it's what I thought would happen to begin with. I did have an option to go over pricing prior to any procedures being done however I said "do what needs to be done" and she ballparked the price for me which actually was very accurate. I can tell you that the price was pretty close to what it would've been at my previous Vet, and probably the same or slightly cheaper than the Vet that I currently have. I feel like the poor reviews this place has gotten is based on people with unrealistic expectations. The emergency services here operate just like they would at a human emergency room. Unstable patients take precedent over stable patients. My cat received excellent care and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

We first met Dr. Bell in 1994 here in Woodland Hills, Ca, or you can simply say Los Angeles. There was a complicated case that many veterinarians argued about while our cat was suffering. Somebody mentioned Doctor Bell, and sure enough he solved the problem on the spot. It's been 31 years, and many, many cats, dogs, and birds were treated with high success by this amazing vet. A few years ago, he relocated his practice to Paso Robles, 220 miles from where we live, but this did not stop us from bringing our pets to him. We did try to find someone nearby, but it did not work out. No vet was as good as he is. So, we stopped trying, looking, and we went back to THE BEST!
