This is a mixed review: I hired Abortech to remove a large…read moretree (Bradford Pear) to trim 2 similar trees, and to remove the tree stump from the tree, all in the front yard. I was VERY happy with the work done by the 2 men who removed the tree, trimmed the 2 others, and CLEANED UP the yard thoroughly after their work was done -- you would never even know that extensive work was done that day. I am, however, EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with the tree stump removal (IN THE FRONT YARD!!!). The stump grinding created a great big HOLE in the ground and a HUGE pile of dirt and ground tree stump right next to the hole. He told men that they "never fill in the holes", that's up to the homeowner to do! I am a woman, 77 years old, disabled, and walk, in great pain, with a cane -- and I was left with a great big hole and a huge plle of dirt TO FILL IN MYSELF !! Now I have to find someone to PAY to fill in that hole. IF I HAD KNOWN THAT ARBORTECH NEVER INTENDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB, OR THAT THIS WAS THEIR "STANDARD PRACTICE", I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID (WAAAY TOO MUCH!!!) $425 to have one small-to-medium stump ground!!!! And I am left with an unsightly mess on my front lawn. This was a huge ripoff, and not worth the money.

I have used Kevin Gaucher of CC&L Tree Service twice in the last three (3) years now…read more I am very surprised that this is only the second YELP review, CC&L Tree Service is a real find... Kevin Gaucher of CC&L & his one helper, an old man with a six to eight inch white beard did very quick work trimming the bay window tree, cutting down a couple of small dead trees & cutting down my large tree in a fenced in area. He used a bucket truck to trim the bay window tree. The fenced in area tree was mostly cut down by hand, with a little help using the bucket truck. Kevin went above & beyond expectations, he took away a small pile of tree branches that I have been collecting & spent about twenty minutes with a leaf blower cleaning up. Considering the mechanical equipment used, two people & 4.5 hours of labor, I think I paid a reasonable price. To sum it up, Kevin of CC&L does what he promises, for a fair price & shows up when he says he will. I would recommend him for tree work.
