His response time, fair pricing, crew, and clean up are awesome. He saved my shade tree that was badly damaged by a fallen pine tree. Today, 10 years later this tree stands taller providing shade in the summers brutal heat . He was here last week helping us with some landscaping issues and stump removal. I have used Kevin Gaucher of CC&L Tree Service twice in the last three (3) years now. I am very surprised that this is only the second YELP review, CC&L Tree Service is a real find... Kevin Gaucher of CC&L & his one helper, an old man with a six to eight inch white beard did very quick work trimming the bay window tree, cutting down a couple of small dead trees & cutting down my large tree in a fenced in area. He used a bucket truck to trim the bay window tree. The fenced in area tree was mostly cut down by hand, with a little help using the bucket truck. Kevin went above & beyond expectations, he took away a small pile of tree branches that I have been collecting & spent about twenty minutes with a leaf blower cleaning up. Considering the mechanical equipment used, two people & 4.5 hours of labor, I think I paid a reasonable price. To sum it up, Kevin of CC&L does what he promises, for a fair price & shows up when he says he will. I would recommend him for tree work. read more

Living in Simsbury is like living in a forest. I've seen turkeys galore, deer just about every week, a fox, a mountain lion, and on 5 occasions, a BEAR. But mostly we have trees, there are trees everywhere. Big trees, the kind that would slice into your house like a machete through a cupcake if they happened to fall the wrong way.. While raking our ten millionth leaf last weekend, we noticed that some of our trees were in horrible condition - dead, diseased, pasty white, and leafless. They looked like trouble waiting to happen. We called CC&L and within a few days, the three offending trees were gone, as was any sign that they ever existed at all. No wood chips, no stray limbs, no lawn damage where the bucket truck came onto the lawn, not a trace. Just a perfect job at a very fair price.
